The suit is awesome, and the reveal is nothing short of spectacular!!! I recognized those dotted facial markings on the mask which are just like the ones Shuri had on her face in the first film, so obviously she is the viable candidate for the Black Panther mantle! However, I could also theorize that the mask or mantle of the Black Panther could be worn by more than one person throughout the movie and perhaps beyond the whole venture of the MCU, just like how in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse the idea was that more than one could wear the mask and be Spider-Man, or Spider-Woman, Spider-Pig, etc. I'm thinking that could be the case here, even if it's not that likely. Also, I'm totally excited for Namor, Talocan, and the introduction of the true successor to the legacy of Iron Man, Riri Williams aka Ironheart!

I still get freaking chills and hype from watching this trailer long after I've watched the movie! Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was a tremendous, heartwarming, heartbreaking, and emotional story about love, grief, and overcoming loss, and it definitely delivered on its promise to expand on Wakanda and respectfully close the book on T'Challa's story. I loved everything about it, Shuri's emotional character arc, seeing Queen Ramonda, M'Baku, Okoye, and Nakia again, Namor and his backstory, the introduction of Riri Williams, the mysterious underwater world of Talokan, and a surprise character cameo I didn't see coming (no spoilers), and I can't wait to see where the Black Panther goes from here next. The first trailer was a dagger to my heart, but this one had me very happy and excited for the movie!

I still hope it’s Nakia. I mean her character makes more sense in that without T’challa she would have no purpose. Shuri can still become Queen and be lead scientist. But without T’challa’s character what is Nakia supposed to be?! Also, I feel like her character makes more sense as she was the one in the first movie to try and save those women from traffickers. She was the one suggesting Wakanda come out of hiding and share it’s resources with the world. She turned down T’challas hand in marriage because she wanted to help those in need around the world. She was the humanitarian one.
Nakia was so interesting and I’m sad she’s basically just his love interest and not her own character

Not everybody. Marvel is still on my good side. There will still be those haters. Ironheart, Shuri as Black Panther, and lastly She-Hulk. Looking forward to see what those 3 strong females do in the future.
Only the vocal minority seems to hate Marvel. Marvel doesn't need to get back onto anyone's "good side" cause the minority will still hate them no matter what.

It mkes sense that Riri's suit is bulky- her original suit was very bulky and grey, much like Tony's own first suit, it's only later that she gets the more form fitting red and gold version.

I think it's like how tchalla was the panther during Tchakas reign before his death, like his champion. So shuri is the BP, but I'm not at all discounting that we're gonna see a Ramonda BP suit, we have to, it's just not gonna be her main role.

It's not. The mantle of Black Panther goes only to those of royal blood and ruler of Wakanda. Okoye isn't of royal blood, nor does she want to be the Black Panther.
i feel like the only way they can kill off tchalla in the mcu is that thanos snapping had to have health effects to the ones affected. like a incurable disease or something. if he dies from a mission or gave him cancer like chadwick, it would be too on the nose

I'm not so...Shuri (wink-wink, pun STRONGLY intended) about who the new Black Panther might be ;) I mean, come on. The dots on the mask are practically identical to those on Shuri's face in the first movie. How can it be someone else?! That wouldn't make any sense...
Besides, apart from being nearly comic book accurate (in the comics Shuri becomes Black Panther while T'Challa is in a coma, but unfortunate events, which includes the death of Chadwick Boseman, just changed the course of history in the movie) it was under everybody's eyes that the relationship of both T'Challa and Shuri and their respective actors, Chadwick Boseman and Letitia Wright, was that of two brothers, both in real life and on the set of the first movie.
So, it becomes quite natural, to make Shuri the new Black Panther, right?!

Most of T'challa's abilities came from the heart shaped herb and the Vibranium suit. Don't pretend he could have done much without those 2 things
@@enadegheeghaghe6369 well you're not wrong...but....the heart-shaped herb gave him superhuman strength and agility only, and also for his fast recovery. Same as the vibranium suit...for extra protection. But these does not gave t'challa the ability to fight hand to hand combat.

I will keep it simple. If it turns out the new Black Panther is not Suri... It may come to a point that i will not watch it. That is how offended i will be. To me, there is no other way to do good on Chadwick's memory than that. It should be his sister who replace him. And i mean Black Panther's sister not Chadwick duhhhh. She is the one who has the knowledge to create the suits, etc etc. It is not just because she is T'achala's sister.
Or just delay this movie for phase 5 and eventually recast him with a new actor.
