- After years of disagreements, former The Jam band-mates Bruce Foxton and Paul Weller have reunited.
Foxton made his latest solo album, Smash the Clock, at Paul Weller's studio.
He told BBC Breakfast how Weller joined some of the recording sessions.
Hope they record together again to bring at least one album out the three original members that would be something else man what an iconic band love them please guys just one more time
Bruce has maintained an uncannily youthful look. Incredible.
Wish I could have seen the Jam performing live, they're a fantastic group.
Good luck with the album chaps!
Great bass player...
Glad to hear they sorted it out.
I still cling to the hope that they will perform as The Jam again one day!!
Give it up, mate. Never going to happen.
Just go & watch ‘From the Jam’ I find them as good if not better than the original line up 👍
Never gonna happen...
Can't believe he's still rocking the spiky mullet
Can’t beat the Ziggy Haircut
Always thought he was more charismatic than Paul in the Jam days. Must have peed him off!
Bruce Foxton...not Bruce Bruce
Smash the clock? Isnt that in the video for Absolute Beginners?
Yes I realised that, Its quite a cool "easter egg" if it is deliberate
Are you sure that's not Paul Whitehouse?
1st thing I thought was that he looked like a Fast Show character
Seen these guys many times.....Russell Hastings.....what can 1 say .....wow....charisma on legs ..
Martin shaw
I knew that was Foxton in The Professionals 'who played Doyle?' lol
🤣
Bruce Bruce. So good they named him twice.
The new songs very like old Jam
No, Jam
It's my opinion. It's neither incorrect or correct.
Its Nothing like 'The Jam' - without Weller's dynamite anti socialist lyrics, and having a go at the establishment, the song means very little. It is very reminiscent however of Weller's sell out band "The Style Council' which entered in to the mainstream after the break up. lets face it, that was the only way Weller was gonna play at Live Aid, could you imagine The Jam singing 'In the City', 'Mr Clean' or 'Eton Rifles' at Live Aid?
@@chrismayhew4199 Anti-Socialist lyrics w.t.f
@@chrismayhew4199 oh yeh, the polished sell out lyrical content of walls come tumbling down and internationalists
that cant be paul weller ?
It's Russell Hastings.
Bruce and Rick went on to form a band called "From the Jam."
The lead singer 'Russel Hastings' was spotted by Bruce singing in a Jam tribute band. He was that good they asked him to join From the Jam.
huge fan over her in california!
I met Bruce a few years ago didn't like him at all , yet Rick was fantastic
I'm The Buddha.😁
Who the fuck is Bruce Bruce?!
same old same old foxton and buckler always hanging on to weller's coat tails
Buckler isn't even in the band.
Foxton , best Rickenbacker player of all time !!
