I also noticed how the series did correspond a lot with 'The Hero's Journey'. Especially the ending in which Midoriya is returned to being Qurikless, in other words he returns from the fantastical world, and becomes a teacher to bestow all he has learned to a new generation. Many, many, consider this an awful ending. But I find it holds true to the ancient formula. And even without his powers, Deku retains all he learned as a hero and is still very much transformed by his journey. Even more his journey transformed his world. He's no longer someone can be considered an outsider of the world. He is in many ways the father of a new world, tasked with instructing those who will inherit it, and with aid from his allies, is given a suit of technological armor to continue to defend it as its first Quirkless hero, the very thing he sought to be in the beginning.
