Great work, we have a couple of guys in my alliance who do the math to some of this stuff to work out best value and ROI. This is one we hadnt gotten to yet, so thanks for that!
Researching battle skills is far more effective as a f2p player To even stay relevant in the game compared to the p2w. Not that f2p can ever compare to p2w. Its simply a psychological cash grab for century games.

Makes 0 sense. Of course the final/last upgrades will have diminishing returns.... just like every other upgrade.... What would be the fastest way to upgrade EVERYTHING? A) Upgrade everything but research speed first, and then upgrade research speed B) Upgrade ALL research speed first, then upgrade everything else Which would be faster? Obviously B! All upgrades have diminishing returns, what's the point of even mentioning it? It's only worth mentioning if say you intend to play the game for say a fixed amount of time, like 3 months, then quit. Then you can factor in diminishing returns. If your final objective is the upgrade everything, it's a no brainer that research speed *must* be fully maxed and upgraded *first*
You have misunderstood the video. There is no reason to upgrade everything because research speed is useless after finishing all the research. I'll explain with an extreme analogy below: - 1% increase in research speed cost 100 years to finish - the rest of the research will take a total of 10 minutes to finish Plan: A) invest 100 years to improve the research speed by 1% first so that the rest of the research will take a total of 5 seconds faster, and you will now finish EVERYTHING. B) invest straight into the rest of the research with 10 minutes and skip the research speed improvement, because it's useless anyway. This is the case for this final research speed, it is almost never beneficial regardless of how long you play the game. It's not your fault for thinking the longer-term research speed will be always better, but I do math to show you what is true or false.

@@spammemama I did my calculations based on real data and presented in this video. All problem requires assumptions to be answered. That's where our views deviated. You don't need to be angry at different views and assumptions. You made two assumptions (1) there will be more research added in the research centre (2) everyone will be playing this game for at least the next 6 years. I didn't make these assumptions. The reason I disagree with your assumptions is because currently it takes around 6 years for the research speed improvement to be beneficial. Maybe i missed it, but i dont think you talked about speed ups. If you research it as early as possible, you get more out of every speed up you use.
That is correct, I may not have addressed it clearly enough, the 5.5 years of break even I referred to is the waiting time + speedup.
