Hey Mr Don Adams I’m a long time fan. In fact, I grew up watching your show. You’re a great actor, person & comedian, thanks for your wonderful decent family show. Happy you’re on the Carol Burnett Show. You still have it!!! God bless you for making my years of growing up a good wholesome man that’s remarkable at keeping me laughing and full of joy.
The talk show sketch is good absurdist comedy. Just the amount of sheer inanity going on from all the characters with the cameras closing in...pure gold.
Seeing all these episodes brings me back to being a kid again. Seeing Don Adams really brings back memories of better times. I wish I could back to that time for a few hrs. At lease we have these old episodes and many others. Thank you for posting these.
Who are the 12 people that gave this a thumbs down? You have no idea what great comedy and what a great variety show is, obviously. Gosh, I really miss this wonderful cast! Such fantastic, irreplaceable talent. We'll never see anything comparable ever again. So sad but thank goodness for these recordings!!
Carol just one question & I only ask it cause you’re always happy joyful & level headed. Folks used to say redheads had a bad temper. I’ve never seen you have a bad temper on your shows. Do you have a bad temper outside of your shows. You’ve just got a great big loving heart in your shows , your great singing and personality at the end of your shows. And you always have a word for the world to understand. Like keeping our country nice and green and good energy sources or about helping lil children or the sick & poor. An all around good decent woman.
Lesley Ann Warren never aged! Her hair has been longer for quite some time but it's like time has not touched her. She appeared many times on "Will & Grace" as Sydney Pollack's (Will's dad's) lover, Tina...a tremendously good role for her.
How wonderful to see such an early performance from Leslie Ann Warren. Before this the earliest I had seen her was in Columbo, the feature film Clue, and of course as Norma Cassidy in Victor Victoria, but i could hardly believe it to see her in the Carol Burnett Show. She must have only been about twenty. It just goes to show what a high calibre of actors, dancers and stars appeared every week and how this program became such a hit for CBS. Television is so awful these days because so little money is spent on its production, and the television bosses have no idea as to what entertainment really is. .The 60’s and 70’s were such a great time period for entertainment. I’m glad i lived through both.
She IS Cinderella! Lesley Ann Warren was in the wonderful TV production and I remember how exciting the Saturday night it came on. It was LIVE and of course filmed for video now. But it was actually LIVE when it debuted.
Don't forget co-starring with Mel Brooks in his movie Life Stinks! Loved her and all the others in Clue- what an amazing cast that was! Flames, on the sides of my face...!!!
I think her Cinderella may be available here on YT. It's worth seeking out. A great performance of the Rogers & Hammerstein musical. It was on annually, for years. I love it.
Looking at Don and Carol standing next to each other... ... I think maybe Mel Brooks missed an opportunity to have Carol play an Agent who has to cover for a sick 99....
I never knew carol was so talented. She could dance and sing. I miss the shows I used to listen to. They were positive . Her cham comes through. Also the top comics.
MeTV promo brought me here with Carol saying the word "television", wanted to make sure that was Don Adams I was looking at for that brief second. Hilarious clip! The Carol Burnet Show can do no wrong! Thanks for posting.
34:51-45:34 "The Lost Purse" sketch with Carol Burnett and Don Adams was hilarious with "Did you check your pockets? Check them again!" for the missing tax papers. 😂Then when Frank told Claire to retrace her steps. 3X Frank says "Wouldn't it be a good idea to put the important papers in your pocket?" Claire 3X "HE DIDN'T SAY THAT!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Classic comedy
I am gonna show I'm young, ign'unt, and only 49 here. 😂 I knew who Lesley Ann Warren is, but I knew her from the movie "Pure Country". I actually didn't realize she went back to the 60s. Wow.
Is the whole Carol B Show available to stream? If not, I hope eventually all the seasons are uploaded here. There are so many more that I remember, but that aren't online. I'm thinking of the ones from the later years - Lily Tomlin, Steve Martin, Jack Weston, Gloria Swanson, Steve AND Eydie, etc etc.
Isn't it interesting that they were HEAVILY criticizing the execs while the strikes were on? I was a child and don't remember for obvious reason (I was a KID, and better things to do than listen to the news), but they redacted this episode and a couple others in the midwest. Back then, if Carol Burnett got cut by CBS, NBC, ABC or even the BBC (And the CBC Canada) probably would have come begging to broadcast the show. I find that CB and her team exercised admiral restraint. But I need to go bed, so what do I know? ;)
I don’t think there will éver be another comedian like Carol Burnett!! She was just the best!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I can only say that these shows ARE a treat from the past that will never
be forgotten and dearly missed...!!! 🙌

OMG Inspector Gadget! I loved Don’s work. Good to see him here 😀

Loved to see Don Adams. Get smart was a funny show! Thank you Carol, I love you and your cast!
Ms. Burnett I love you for all the laughter you have brought into my life. GOD Blessed.
And her show was the best show ever!
The talk show sketch is good absurdist comedy. Just the amount of sheer inanity going on from all the characters with the cameras closing in...pure gold.
Loved this show. Miss stuff like this. TV doesn't cut it today.
Lesley Ann Warren looking gorgeous! And that outfit!
Seeing all these episodes brings me back to being a kid again. Seeing Don Adams really brings back memories of better times.

Absolutely brilliant. I was a wee lad when it first aired. I watched it with parents.

She looks great in all the outfits Bob Mackie designed for her!
Lesley Ann Warren never aged! Her hair has been longer for quite some time but it's like time has not touched her. She appeared many times on "Will & Grace" as Sydney Pollack's (Will's dad's) lover, Tina...a tremendously good role for her.
I've loved her ever since she played Cinderella in a television production in the mid 1960s.

she was cinderella, like....seven years before this on CBS. she was only like 15 or 16 then, so she must be in her mid 20s here
I think her Cinderella may be available here on YT. It's worth seeking out. A great performance of the Rogers & Hammerstein musical. It was on annually, for years. I love it.
I loved Lesley's sultry rendition of 'The Best Is Yet To Come'!
Don Adams a great talent
I've loved Leslie Ann Warren since Cinderella!❤
Season 1 was totally Zany! Loved it years ago and still love it to this day. She looked pretty darn good in that long blond wig. I gotta say.
Looking at Don and Carol standing next to each other... ... I think maybe Mel Brooks missed an opportunity to have Carol play an Agent who has to cover for a sick 99....
She did appear as a country star Annie in Get Smart & was wonderful!
I never knew carol was so talented. She could dance and sing. I miss the shows I used to listen to. They were positive . Her cham comes through. Also the top comics.
I went to school and PARTAYED!😁 w/Dons daughter. Fun fam. 👍
Doing drugs and drinking alcohol are nothing to be proud of.

I love seeing Lyle Waggoner. He was always my favorite man on the show.
Super funny Q&A!! Not to mention the skits that followed.
I am gonna show I'm young, ign'unt, and only 49 here. 😂 I knew who Lesley Ann Warren is, but I knew her from the movie "Pure Country". I actually didn't realize she went back to the 60s. Wow.
oh @Russell, she had had a long career well before Pure Country. A lot of Lesley Ann Warren is online.
I best remember Lesley for her portrayal of the title role in the 1964 remake of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella".
Okay, wondering if Lesley Ann Warren lost that earring before the lights came up, or if the single earring was a look. 🤷🏻♀️
Love u Carol Burnett
