You can change the zoom level of the stage using its dedicated controller on the toolbar above the stage, on its right side. This would let you control the zoom level for your currently rendered board however best fits your needs.
For now Codux is focused on providing the best possible experience for React projects, as that still seems to be the most popular flavor out there. Once we feel it has matured, and offers good enough value to our users, we'll consider which framework to support next, at which point we'll definitely reach out to the community to gather some thoughts.
I have recently downloaed this ide, I am planning on using this on the projects which are already created and under development from some time, is there a way to integrate it? It uses Redux for state management.

Looks like this app is browser based like so vscode. Couldn't we integrate vscode in this app? If we do so, we do not need to switch windows anymore. Maybe some shortcut in the app would be useful to switch coding mode (view)
Codux is an Electron based App, but we feel that it requires too much space to be comfortably used in VSCode. We are considering some sort of partial integration in VSCode, but for now they are mostly meant to be used side-by-side with Codux helping you navigate to the right place visually, and jumping to the right place in the code, in Codux or VSCode.
Can we create nested boards? I think we can implement atomic design. To do so, we need for example Atom > Text, or Molecules > Search bars > Search bar x
Boards can in fact be used that way! You can import any board in any other board using a default import, and access the component to render under "MyBoard.Board"
This is not blocked on our side. It appears that ISPs in Lebanon are doing the actual blocking. Our only suggestion here would be to use a VPN to work around the issue.
We're actively exploring ways of working with entire Next projects, but even until then a lot of components in the project could still be viewed and edited. Stay tuned for more news on this.
Have no worries, Codux is still being actively developed and maintained. We do hope to open source more parts of it in the future (even if not the whole thing), and definitely to open up pluggability and extensions from the user space.
This looks very interesting! I have two questions: 1: Does it support component library like MUI for react? 2: Does it support generating functional react elements, (js rather than using jsx)? i.e return React.createElement('div', { ... }, ...); opposed to return ( ... );
1. Sure does, you can use 3rd party libraries to your liking (assuming they're using React/TypeScript). You can take a look in the Codux project picker at the example we have for Semantic UI. I hope we'll be able to add a MUI example soon as well. 2. Not at the moment, right now our focus is on the common .tsx flavor used for React/TypeScript projects. Once that matures, or when there's enough desire for the .js flavor - we'll look into adding that as well.
We don't currently have a set date for going out of beta, as we're focusing on increasing the feature-set, usability and performance of Codux. However, that shouldn't stop you from using Codux with your production apps. Many users are already doing so and shipping amazing things.
1. At this point in time, and for the foreseeable future monetizing is not our primary focus, rather, improving Codux making sure it meets our users wants and needs. When it does happen, it might be per license, or per deployment, but regardless Open Source projects will get to use Codux for free, for ever. 2. Some of the parts that come together to make Codux are already open source (admittedly we can expose those better), but Codux as the entire product, is closed source. Having said that, we're definitely setting our sights on pluggability and extendability so in the future, anyone could add what they think is missing, for themselves and for the entire community.
hey @cognitai, we've tweaked the demo project a bit for this video - so that specific bit of functionality doesn't exist in the official demo project, you're not doing anything wrong, just a slightly different project. :)!
as someone who hates front-end (too complex for me). This looks like a breath of fresh air 😍
Using native elements directly is really cool. Generating code from UI made easy. Great work.
From what I'm seeing so far, this a mazing. An absolute game changer 😍
Thank you very much for the kind words, I hope we'll get to see you as part of our community on our discord server (link in the video description).
Love it!
I always thought why the IDE like this doesn't exist. I strongly wish you grow and develop more features
🎉🎉🎉🎉
It would be great if you guys can show us how to open and use the Adobe React Aria kit!
Great suggestion, we'll add it to our content roadmap.
Im using a 15 inches laptop and I cannot see anything, why not zoom in or capture fullscreen

@@CoduxIDEhe's talking about the video 💀
@@CoduxIDE the quality of the video is a bit low. RUclips reduces the bitrate so 1080p is like 480p. To get around this try uploading the video in 4k.

what is the problem with Lebanon?
@AymanAli-lt3ro I think we're labeled a terrorist country or something. Working online has been hard this past year.
@@DarkMuzishn That is so sad because Lebanon is not a terrorist country. It is a Mediterranean country with the best people ever.
