you guys missed Bharat auto expo in New Delhi
Those are lion faced macauques. Or monkey 🐒🐵
❤❤❤
You should have started your journey from north to south covering north east. This is best time to visit there. When you will reach there then it would be great summer hot and humid
those monkeys are Lion-tailed macaque.
My favourite part of the entire Asia/Europe series is Lavi saying “Good Morning World” in every video with such a bright and contagious smile. 🫶🏻
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
What i love most about you guys is that you guys research about the place you go . i learn more from you about my hometown that even i dont know as a resident
So happy to hear ❤️ Thank you so much
In india, every state is different and unique interms of food, culture, language, people etc...
That’s awesome 🤩
@@LaviandOllieDo you know 30% are muslims in India . In every corner of India there are muslims in every village,in every town ,in every city ,in some places 50% are muslims .
Rest are Hindu, sikh, Christian, Buddhist etc.
Hindus are very tolerating people.
You two are living the dream of tons of indian, a bike ride trip of India
😍
Hi Lavi and Ollie...we are on a Royal Enfield about 4 days behind you.Currently staying next door to your guesthouse in Thekaddy. It's our third time in India and we love watching your videos! Btw we are old enough to be your parents...keep safe and keep riding from Kim and Adrian

25:20 Those tall trees hold water and release into soil when water level is reduced. it helps in keeping tea bush alive during long summer
What? They are silver oaks. Planted for shade
@@SJ-yg1bh thats what tour guide told me when i visited ooty for the first time. Tea bushes need lot of water, monsoon are unpredictable. So, Tea plantation owners use these trees
Love how you guys are learning so much about the local culture and the place .. all the best for your adventure
We love it 😻
Hi Lavi and Ollie, what a wonderful adventure you are having. I have had a knee replacement just over 3 months ago and the next knee next week. Your travels will give me a wonderful experience while I recover from a traumatic experience, I am so glad that I found your channel. I hope your journey goes well and you will have me with you all of the way. Soon I will ride my 1951 Royal Enfield that I bought in 1972 and my new Royal Enfield Interceptor. Have fun and keep safe, I will say again I am so glad I found your channel thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind comment ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love your presentation about our country. thanks to come and explore our country ❤❤❤
Looks like the Indian people have jumped on board with your channel.
That's fantastic!
Happy Trails
❤
Yay ❤️
Another incredible day in India. I did enjoy every moment of your creative tour.
Glad you enjoyed it!❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍
Another beautiful video of India, you make it very easy for us to see the world from our warm dry living room. What is noticeable is that since Lavie got her driver's license she takes the lead, always drives ahead and according to the videos you have not driven wrong yet.
respect!
😍❤️😍
26:00 You are really lucky to see this Endangered listed LTM. Lion Tailed Macaque. These animals are shy, arboreal.. There are just only few hundreds in the entire world.
It's more than a few hundred now, but still endangered. I remember this species mentioned explicitly in our state school books in the 80s and state govts running programs to protect it. Didn't realise it's to the extent of people on the roads monitoring their safety too which is great.
@@satheesht Yes. I was lucky too having had a chance to do a project during my PG (Zoology) in AAZP. Vandalur, Chennai.
I agree their numbers have increased. Now in the THREATENED LIST.
Thanks to the Tamilnadu government, Forest Department, its all dedicated staffs, rangers making sure that our future generations also can see them.
Wow 🤩

25:55 Wow! Did you just spot some Lion-Tailed Macaques?! They’re supposed to be super rare, endangered and elusive. This is one of my favourite go to routes for rides but never have I seen these guys chilling on the road. 😄
Oh wow yes 🙈❤️❤️
This is such a wonderful series guys. Thank you so much for taking us with you! What a beautiful country and lovely people 🧡🤍💚✨️🪄🇮🇳
Thank you so much 😍❤️
It's always scenic around that part of the woods.
😍
India's landscape is mind blowing.
But the road is not so good
27:37 Didn't know they eat sweet first in TN but here in Eastern India (WB) we eat sweets as a dessert at the end of the meal.
Yes it was a surprise for us too 🤩
@@LaviandOllie I thought they said it was part of their culture and I don't think there is a culture where sweets are usually eaten after meals
It is true only in the case of sweet pongal. Mostly, they have pongal in the beginning of the meal. Other sweets are served at the end of the meal.
In kerala and Tamilnadu, you both start and end with sweets. Major sweets are towards the end of
It's considered auspicious to have sweet first... The first thing on the okat is salt followed by pickle and then sweet. You eat the sweet first.
This is the best adventure route for trekking ...every month once I use this route for bike ride
Celebrations related to "Makara" is when the Sun crosses to Tropic of Capricorn. That is the day the culture celebrates these festival as per the region: Pongal, MakarShankranti, Behu etc etc. Ancient temples have special structure built into the temple where the Sun light on MakarShankranti falls on the gem on the Deiti's forehead. This phenomenon is called "Makara-Jyoti".

Lovely scenery and ride! Thanks for sharing it with us. Lavi, you are doing great with that bike!!
Thank you 🤗❤️
If you are in vaalparai, try visiting grass hills next to karamalai. Karamalai has one of the best colonial bunglow. Grass hills has a cabin which was build by Britishers before 150 years.
Please Don't forget to visit North East India the most beautiful places lies in it and mostly untouched by foreigners as they travel mostly in the North and South India but forget the North East . Your India trip is incomplete without visiting it . I hope so you will visit it.
Untouched it's better
Hopefully one day ❤️
There is root bridges there ,bridge out of huge roots
The traffic looks quite civilized when waiting for priority passenger. Some people think a virtual signalling system could be used that would mimic physical systems. I remember the video, but somehow vanished. They even talked about using vehicles to physically carry messages where there are no cloud communications to opposing traffic regarding emergency, weather or road conditions.
Beautiful show be careful Tigers can jump sooo high and super fast . India people are so friendly thanks for sharing !!!!
Yes they are 😍
The explanation and the cinematography is lovely ❤❤
Thank you 🤩
Lived my entire life of 25 years in Tamil Nadu and I've yet to visit munnar or valparai sigh!!! So jealous of you guyss...
I am currently living in London and I am very happy to see my hometown Tamil Nadu in your videos.
Thanks!

I guess they are heading there. Probably in the next video we can confirm!
Have to say, as an experienced rider, I am really enjoying watching the riding dynamic between you two, with Lavi being a brand new rider and Ollie as the veteran. Lavi is doing absolutely amazing for a new rider, there sure are a lot of very dynamic experiences for a new rider. She is handling them like a boss! Ollie is fun too, with his steady presence, riding as the ‘tail gunner’ and keeping a watchful eye, riding the pace she needs, blocking danger from the rear, taking over the mike as required for rest or as concentration dictates. Super fun adventure too. Enjoying your content, refreshing (to me) as a riding pair enjoying adventures together. As a married guy, I also get a chuckle over previous brekkie scenes. Husbands always lose a bit of pancake to “quality assurance”, it’s just the way it is. LOL
So glad to hear ❤️ haha yes always 50/50 with the food 🤣
Wow 84,600 subscribers I am so proud to be one of those people! You guys deserve all the accolades! You’re such a likeable and positive couple we enjoy watching every episode and this India 🇮🇳 series is just amazing, thank you both so much!
Thank you so much for your kind comment 😍😍😍❤️
Moin, moin, hey you two when parking your bikes on a gradient, reverse off the road at 90° and leave in 1st gear to stop it rolling back further (with the engine off of course) . This means that when you set off again you just need to ride off in the direction you want to go without the pain of having to push the bike backwards up the gradient onto the road (especially when hot)
Ride Safe 🤗
Lavis smile and positive energy is contagious ❤
🤩❤️🇮🇳
I’m so happy that you guys are showing the real beauty of India in a wonderful manner through your videos.
I hope every western media knows the real beauty of India through your videos ❤️🙏
Thank you so much ❤️
That was a very quick exit from Kerala (The subscribers paradise). Good luck & safe journey.
I was a bit puzzled in the beginning but now got it.
The beautiful couple have plans to ride the highest motorable road in the world in Laddakh which is not possible before the month of May.
They have plenty of time to cover the distance and we are here for a long treat and I am enjoying every bit of it.

Beautiful India ❤
25:55 singavaal kurangu
For anyone wondering he said the species of monkey is lion tailed macaque
Bro for sure worked for documentaries and wildlife in the past the way he explains the information is outstanding
😍😍😍
Kerala is the best state in india neet and clean beautiful ❤
No bro i can see many trash on the side of the road 😂 naturally Kerala is beautiful but not clean bcz of u guys
May be sure but you are not mentioned about people please ask about people in neibour States 😮
You were mentioning about tiger pangoline, leopard, etc. but the monkey that you saw en route to Valparai is (my guess, need more confirmation though) Lion-tailed macaque. This species is endemic to the area (Kerala, TN, and Karnataka) and critically endangered, with approx. 4200 left in the world. You were so lucky to spot them. Their interaction with humans is a new phenomenon too . Although unusual, it is becoming commonplace and has a detrimental effect on their population. Hope the species is resilient and survives and really really hope humans wont push them to extinction!
But yeah, on a random road trip, although you were searching for something majestic to the human eye, you might have found a hidden gem!
Wow we’re so fortunate to have seen this special monkey 😍 thank you so much for your comment
Hola L&O,
Today's adventure was terrific! Those mountain roads were incredibly scary. Especially in that heavy fog, and at the end with all those speeding buses.
The scenery was, once again, absolutely spectacular! So green. The tea plantations with those interesting trees were beautiful.
India is a fascinating place.
And what a nice hotel. The Pongal looked tasty.
Safe and happy travels, see you in the next one.
Happy and alive! Lots of love, Sue ❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it❤️
Stunning views ❤ keep exploring our India guys, love you two❤
Thank you! We love it 🥰
The video edits and drone shots are so good man.
Absolutely loving them ❤
Glad you like them!😍❤️
You guys should skip middle karnataka which is hot and dry and follow along Karnataka;s western ghat belt through coorg, hassan, chikamagalur,Shimoga,Uttara kannada and then Goa
If you want more crazy hairpin bends.. try kolli hills route which has 70 hairpin bends.. this will be definitely challenging and adventurous...😂😂
Wow
So glad you guys got to taste homemade local food! What a ride this was! So epic!
We’re getting used to it now 😍
Interesting, beautiful place. All good.
Many thanks!❤️
All the best for your road trip. Being an Indian feel jealous of you guys having this road trip 😊
❤️
Valparai my birth place. Welcome to my home ❤. And the money species which you seen is only live in Valparai. Not in other parts of world. And some research says it may be in Amazon forest.
Ride to athirappilly waterfalls from Valparai ❤
Will do😍
@@LaviandOllie
80% sure you will encounter wild elephants
munnar i love it
We love it too 😍
Try valparai to athrapalli to wayanaad route. It will feel like heaven. But careful because no google map available in athirapaly route. Also if you look into google map you will see no inhabitants in athriapali. It is 80 to 90% almost green ( forest). Only offline google map download is available for athriapali.
As a hill rider, lane discipline keeps you alive in Indian mountains. While taking a blind curve try to be on edge as much as possible because a big vehicle like bus or truck may be coming from the opposite side and they need space to turn. They may take half of your lane as well
Thanks so much for the tip 🤩
wow
Again a great day with you on the road!
Yay 🥳❤️
Nice video. Unusual view of Anamudi! Thanks for sharing.
The selection of music and super cute editing brings people to watch your entire videos without jumping time . Good work both of you. Ride safe ,be extra careful in hills.
Next time when you plan to visit India ,make sure to take a 30 day visa only to explore Kerala, as you have explored only 1% of kerala. You both will be loving kerala for ever.
Take care ,God bless you both, keep smiling ,Ride safe.❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it!❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lavi and Ollie Hope you guys enjoyed Munnar but as notice something very important is that you have missed a lot of places in Munnar hope to see you soon back in Munnar for a beautiful adventure
Thank you so much 😊

26:00 Those are Lion tailed Macaques. Very special species and endangered as well.
That’s amazing 😍
I guessed that you might take the valpari pollachi route. Brave. Valparai is my favorite place. The jungle ride from Artirapally to valparai is just awesome.
Yes 😍 it was stunning
Watching the vdo, feel chilled
25:25 The stripped down trees are silver oaks. Tea is primarily an undergrowth bush so direct sun light all day is not as good for it. The silver oak branches are managed in such a way that they provide shade to the tea shrubs as necessary for the season.
Thank you so much ☺️
I love my India 🇮🇳 welcome 🙏
Thank you 🤩
guys when the visibility is low, keep a distance from the line at the side of the road, because you might not be able to see the sharp hairpins due to fog and you may end up running off the road. its best to follow teh line in the middle of the road, if there is any but its not safe as you may run into an incoming vehicle. Drive safe.
Thanks for the tips!❤️
