I would have to agree with you there Earl. I've never had a problem when I'm there and people seem to go out of their way to be helpful and kind. Thanks for tuning in.
"After doing the craft shops" That's when i cracked up and had to show the wife😆We both had a laugh! Love your holiday tours. Not quiet like Australia. Currently 3000ks from home in the caravan.
I hope you do go back one day. And I hope that when you are there, you will look me up and we can go somewhere for lunch. Thanks for tuning in to the show.
Thanks for sharing your vaccination Kenny there are certainly some beautiful locations and I love history and heritage. I would one day love to go to Canada.
I'm with you on the small town experiences. It's interesting to see how other folks live on our big blue marble. We live in a small town ourselves but are still close to the bigger stores. We have plenty of hiking trails, lots of wooded areas, and even an observatory about four miles away! We live in what I call a "shack in the woods." Away from the busy streets, but still have several large shopping centers... with a Lowe's and a Menards about ten minutes away. We vacationed in Hawaii this year. An interesting place to visit but I couldn't live there. I guess any vacation is time well spent no matter where you go. I'm glad you had an awesome time! FYI, I think you might be married to a scene stealer, although... she seems like a fun lady! Fun little show! Keep'm coming Kenny, and thanks for sharing!
My wife is definitely a bit of a ham and she is getting more and more comfortable being on camera. Hopefully she will collaborate with me on some shows soon. Thanks for tuning in Dennis. Your "shack in the woods" sounds perfect.
WOW!!!! Another Kenny talent exposed: a tour guide and travel consultant. Great show, Mr and Mrs Kenny!!!! I think Rick Steves should be concerned. He has some competition. The trip was remarkable and the areas shown were indeed beautiful. Much of the areas you visited reminded me of northern Maine both along the coast and inland. I remarkable show and an inspiring journey. It seems to me that What Kenny Did on Vacation was to go back to a simpler time and to enjoy the slow pace and beauty of the area. thank you for sharing.
What I didn't do on vacation was any woodworking which wasn't a good thing. But I did have a good time and it was definitely relaxing. Looking forward to next year's trip already. Thanks for tuning in
Most enjoyable, reminds me of Scotland and parts of Australia. It’s a different lifestyle living in small towns etc. you have time to watch the world go by.
Great video Kenny, you have told us a lot of things we didn't know about the area. Actually I am from and live in Victoria Australia fairly close to the Murray river. So the parts you showed us are very different. Thanks for doing some video of your holidays. very interesting.
I would do that, if Lee Valley didn't close every retail store anywhere near me. There were 3 of them and in the most local one, they knew me by name. Lee Valley still has great products but their service as of late has really declined. They first started to turn their stores into more of a "shopping" experience and that failed miserably and then, out of the blue, they got rid of a huge amount of staff and closed their 3 local stores. I've spent a lot of money at Lee Valley over the years and I've promoted a LOT of their products with absolutely no benefit or gain to myself or the show. Lately however, it seems that when someone asks about a product that I am using, I try to give them the Lee Valley link and lo and behold, they have stopped carrying the product or discontinued it. They aren't what they used to be sadly and for that reason, I've minimized promoting anything from them. I now only order online (my only option) and I only order if I absolutely HAVE to because no one else carries the product. Sad really. They used to be my favourite place to go. @LeeValleyTools
Wow, good to know. I always notice a bunch of Lee Valley items in your shop (reminds me of my own) and was the reason I asked initially. Haven’t ordered from them the last few years. Anyway, thanks for the lowdown on Lee Valley.
Hi Kenny, thanks for the Vacation video. Years ago it was the holiday snaps and before that it was the holiday slides now i feel old ha ha ha. Anyway back to your video, watching it i really loved the views more than anything else in your "vacation video" i could sit there for hours looking at those views. That black sand i have never seen before i'm more used to our yellowish sand which i can see 24/7 where i live, but black sand and again the view is amazing, was i hearing right you said "Leading Tickles" is the name? if it was, that is a brilliant name, love it. The Atlantic Salmon look great and again the views but it's a shame that the interactive things have been taken away, Atlantic Salmon is farmed in Scotland and Wild Salmon is no longer fished commercially anywhere in the UK, and since 2002 it has been illegal to sell any Atlantic Salmon caught by rod and line under Scottish law. Anyway enough said on the Salmon, thanks again for the video it was very enjoyable to watch maybe not the driving though ha ha ha. Take Care and Stay Safe. Barry (UK)
I travelled once from the middle of the country to the far east coast but I was way too young to ever remember it. I think it would be an incredible experience and one that would be worth taking. Thanks again for tuning in Scott.
We have been to Wales and Ireland, and love seeing the landscapes and spending time in the small towns/villages.
It's one of the best things. Thanks for tuning in Scott.
Hi Kenny, thanks for taking me along on your trip, it was very enjoyable. The scenery was beautiful.
Glad that you liked it. Thanks for tuning in.
Thanks for sharing Ken. I find the east coast people are the friendliest in our country as well. Take care and stay healthy and safe.
I would have to agree with you there Earl. I've never had a problem when I'm there and people seem to go out of their way to be helpful and kind. Thanks for tuning in.

The craft shops are very different there. They have a certain amount of charm to their wares. Thanks for tuning in
Thanks for sharing Kenny !! You remind me of how beautiful Newfoundland is. I will be going back some day.
I hope you do go back one day. And I hope that when you are there, you will look me up and we can go somewhere for lunch. Thanks for tuning in to the show.
Glad you had a great vacation. There doesn’t need to be anything fantastic going on all the time. I enjoying seeing things and see what there is.
I don't need to do anything to have a good time. Sometimes, just enjoying what is around you is enough.
Thanks for sharing your vaccination Kenny there are certainly some beautiful locations and I love history and heritage.
I would one day love to go to Canada.
Thanks for the kind words. I hope you do get the chance to visit one day Shane. Thanks for tuning in.

That you do. Life is definitely at a much slower pace in a small town. Thanks for tuning in.
Great information was interesting to watch.
Glad that you liked it. Thanks for tuning in to the show.

Hey Kenny… how about taking us on a tour to a Lee Valley store for all of us non-Canadian’s. Cool video of your vacation. Thanks.

Nice scenery
It definitely is Doug. Thanks for tuning in.
Sometimes, you want to go to places that just have views. A few years ago, we drove around the coast of Scotland, nobody can get tired of those views.
I've never seen Scotland in person but I'd love to one day. Thanks for tuning in Mark and for the kind words.

Thanks for the kind words Barry. Yes you heard right....Leading Tickles. It's a pretty cool place. Thanks for tuning in this week.
Pretty interesting.
Glad that you enjoyed it Karl. Thanks for tuning in.
Have you ever tried any of the train trips across Canada?
I travelled once from the middle of the country to the far east coast but I was way too young to ever remember it. I think it would be an incredible experience and one that would be worth taking. Thanks again for tuning in Scott.
