Honestly you should do videos that's like this or make another drawing book that's about drawing the background. If so I would buy it and try it out. But thank you for sharing. Mr. Hart.🙂👍❤
Neither way is "better". However it is much easier to construct with light pencil then "ink" it with pen after. Some say it might be "better" for you to try and learn with only pen to force you to think more about what you are doing and learn how to fix or ignore "mistakes" without erasing. Learn with what works for you. The only way to know what works for you is to draw every single day.

Some people don't break down the more challenging parts - but that's precisely where the focus needs to be.
