Great looking bike, where i can get decals/graphics set which you have on it.....especially rear side panels are awesome compared to mine 2020 model.....and black seat, uholistry or from supermoto model?
Sorry for the late reply- I have been using SKDA graphic company us.skda.com.au/categories/brand-collabs/offroad-underground.html The black seat is from seatconcepts.com
Not really, but he drain it all out and wipe it. Any residual cleaner acts like a thinner when mixed with oil , dissolving it......definitely not good for engine nor gear box.
He’s a ‘qualified tech’ that says I’m not sure what the torque spec is, I don’t know but I do it this way? Really, using contact cleaner to clean out the filter area in the case.
Never put the New oil Filter dry in the engine. Put it first in the New oil that He can soka up the oil. And if you put it dry in the engine dont give gas. 🤦♂️🤦♂️ After oil and Filter change let the engine run in at idle
Quinn has done a lot of oil changes on these bikes and about a hundred others, so we deferred to him on this video. I understand what you are saying though 100%
Always pre soak the filters in oil. That way when you start the engine it is actually getting oil instead of the filters soaking up the oil and the engine being starved for a short period.
I have a 2021 Husky 701E - what a phenomenal bike it is. To me it's the ultimate unicorn.
I'm loving riding this great machine. We did a Baja trip a few weeks ago and I was much more comfortable than on a bigger ADV bike.
@@offroadunderground8987 Awesome to hear my friend!
An you sell it 😅
Caveat- I think
‘Run in’ oil should be left in the engine until the run in period is reached.
Thank you this is solid camera work
Much appreciated!
There is also another oil screen in the front of the engine :)
Nice 👍🏼, btw in Bavaria its normal to Drink Beer 0.5 Liter and 1 Liter in a Special Glas called Maßkrug. Cheers nice Job ❤
I'm buying a 701sm . it has 8k on it I was thinking a valve adjustment service was coming up but I'm going to have to dig into it deeper.
I checked mine at 12k miles and only 1 needed adjusting. It was actually very easy
16:44 what about the other screen underneath
Sehr schön. Danke 🤩
Missed a screen in the front center
I was thinking that … Surely everyone knows there are two screens ? FFS
This guy knows nothing about this bike
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE HUSKY OVER THE690?
all the best
No reason really!
I think the Husky has a USB port as standard! That’s about it 😂
The 701 has 11cc more than the 690.
😃
Is that the Motorex Power Clean or Joker spray he is using? Thanks

everybody on the internett say 1.8L but Hsq manual says 1.7L. i find that interesting XD thanks for the video!
doesnt know service intervals or torque settings but does service video???
is it really ok to use contact cleaner inside the engine?
Not really, but he drain it all out and wipe it. Any residual cleaner acts like a thinner when mixed with oil , dissolving it......definitely not good for engine nor gear box.
@@istra70 relative to the 1700 cc’s of oil, the amount of contact cleaner which got into the engine isn’t enough to make any difference
Contact cleaner evaporates like alcohol. And its safe on plastic unlike carb cleaner. Personally, I dont use it for engine.
Very good video
Thanks! Appreciate it.
thx
Quinn Cody from KTM Group forgot to clean the second filter screen on the other side...

Step one should be to remove the oil fill plug. Imagine draining all that oil and you cant remove the fill plug!
“Not sure what the torque spec is on this “. 😂. this guy is a clown 🤡

@@jameshind6644 Synthetic oils remain on the engine components for a long period of time, lubricating them when engine is started.
True. But it is still a good idea to presoak the filters and it will not do any harm.
