Never understood why some people get so upset with someone filming with their phone, when there's literally tens of thousands of security cameras recording them daily.
It used to be something we were told in the '80s and '90s, always ask for someone's permission before filming them or taking their picture. But that was back when no one had cameras on them, and if you did and were taking random pictures of people it was really weird. So out of respect, you would ask someone before doing it, and expect others to do it as well.
This isn't a thing anymore but some older folk still believe it's a law or something.
It is the right of a person to have his privacy respected and for his goal not to be focused on a specific person, Those are security cameras.

This is my take of how this whole situation went down. That lady parked in a handicap spot is parked there without a placard. The other lady with the placard (You can see it on her review mirror) got mad at her. Then the lady who is wrong argues with the older lady for god knows what reason my guess is she’s narcissistic and is used to getting her way. Then she gets mad at you for filming in public which like is allowed. Then proceeds to assault you and then calls the cops when you protect yourself. This lady is a clown 🤡.
I couldn't make out a placard in Karen's window. Permanent disability can come with a plate, but that in no way can be used by a family member.

I'm female on my husband's account. I just want to say I taught my sons if she comes at you aggressively try to get away, but, IF SHE STANDS LIKE A MAN, DROP HER LIKE A MAN!! We have had too many young men to be taught never hit a women as they were growing up then in the end they was the ones that died from being stabbed usually (or shot) but died from domestic violence. Just noticed that the Karen was parked in a disabled parking spot (blue stripes all around.) Clearly (to me, and I am no expert) the Karen was no physically disabled in any way that I could see. Perhaps this is the reason the altercation with elderly woman started in the first place. Got into a fight with a little old lady who ALSO was video recording her but she didn't feel the need to assault the old lady.
Then when my dude showed up she assaulted him once, twice, and then with a closed fist punched him. In order for self-defense to apply you (usually; your State laws may differ) have to be facing a current, ongoing threat (she was) and be defending yourself or someone else (he was) and the force has to be proportional (it may have been). I hope she did call the police. I hope they did show up. I hope she did go to jail.
She left her children unattended, alone in a public parking lot in order to assault a stranger 30' away. Mother of the year.
He was even retreating and she was aggressing, he's got a pretty open and shut assault and battery.
