The 2024 BYD Denza Z9 GT offers two powertrain options: a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and a battery electric vehicle (BEV). The PHEV features a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine paired with three electric motors, delivering a total output of 640 kW. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and achieve a remarkable combined range of up to 1,100 km. On the other hand, the BEV variant has three electric motors producing a combined output of 710 kW, enabling it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. The BEV has a driving range of 630 km on a single charge. Both versions are powered by BYD's LFP blade batteries, with the PHEV utilizing a 38.5 kWh battery and the BEV equipped with a larger 100.1 kWh battery.
In terms of design and functionality, the Z9 GT measures 5,180 mm in length, 1,990 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with an expansive 3,125 mm wheelbase. It rides on 21-inch wheels with 255/40 front and 275/40 rear tires. The vehicle's air suspension and rear axle steering, allowing the rear wheels to turn up to 20°, enhance both comfort and handling. The exterior of the Z9 GT comes in four colors: silver, white, gray, and black, adding a touch of sophistication to its sleek and futuristic design.
