  • *** I just want to say thank you all for all the support and love for my dolls and videos! I love the doll community, and I’m so glad that I get to do what I love and share it with all of you!! Love you all!!!! ***
*Since I will be reaching 1000 subs soon, I will be doing something special for you guys as a thank you. I may not happen right as soon as I reach 1000, but it will happen soon, I promise, so just keep a look out on my instagram or here*
Her name is Dorinna. The spirit of the ocean, waves, and the blue waters. She protects the creatures of the sea. Making sure everything is living in harmony. She has come from the sea to pay a visit and explore the land. She mainly loves to spend her time at the beach. She loves listening to the waves and feeling the sand between her toes.
She is a very interesting doll, more the embodiment of water. I am disappointed my first idea isn’t work but I can always try again in the future, made not with water though.
Thank you all for joining me. I hope you liked the video!

One tiny bit of advice: clear baby oil works better for the 'snowglobe' effect and won't evaporate over time. (Isopropyl alcohol also works, but can react badly with resin.)

Thank you, I know that trick, too. Just wasn't able to find any baby oil in time. 🥲

Wicked cool idea!!! She came out so awesome looking!!! It was a really neat idea to have her hair be made that way so that it's transparent!!
I'm sorry that the first plan didn't work out for you. I think you had a really good idea going into it, like the approach... maybe you can try again someime. The only things i could think to help with it are maybe using the casts in a similar way that you did the outside of the limb pieces (but i guess like painting teh inside of the mold with the resin and doing it that way) and that would get you thicker/stronger pieces that you'd still be able top fill... But most importantly covering the whole limb, when it's pieced together, in a hardy layer of resin again to try and keep it together. I would try clear two-part epoxie myself, but i have never actually used epoxy, so idek lol. Other than that, it seemed like the snowglobe was working. I'd just say to look at the way that keychains with liquid inside are made, since water... gets kinda yucky after a while.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked her!!
As for my snowglobes, it was my first try, and I wasn't expecting it to work as good as it did. I still have the pieces, so I can always give it another try. Just need to not use water. The only problem with making the resin super thick is it would lose its shape and not match the other thigh or foot or her plastic body pieces. But practice makes perfect and try and try again till it is a success. 🥰😊
