What lb test line do you recommend for surf fishing down in St Pete? I'm from Kentucky and never fished salt water. Me and my family will be down there next month for a week
I'd use something between 30 and 50 lds depending on what you're after. I change my leader based on what I'm after. Usually fluorocarbon for most things.
fished that area this past Monday and Tuesday. great time; two sharks!
Merry pier got some of the best shark fishing at night time
