GREAT idea!!! But I have webbing, velcro strips, a sewing machine and 'D' rings, so I'll make my own for about $5 and add stuff I already have from my EDC and survival stash. Very cool idea though. Good luck with the campaign.
I can't say it's low quality, but more along the lines of something too simple for the price. about half an hour and $7 of materials and one could be made very easily.
We completely disagree of course. And of course, you have to admit, you're making many speculations without seeing the belt in person. I'm personally handy with a sewing machine (it's how we worked through prototypes), but in no way would I be able to achieve the quality that we will be getting from our professional manufacturers. ~ Dustin
good ideas guys it's like a money belt from back in the day but upgraded for our lifestyles. it is actually a really good idea. you could get separated from your pack etc... your gonna have your belt on! good job. I'd love to eventually review one.
Wow, a quick reply, valid examples and explanation. Unfortunately, you don't find that with most companies. I knew I liked you guys! Thanks for understanding where I was coming from. Keep pumping out those great products Wazoo!
How is sweat going to affect the belt and the items inside? I have a leather cash belt and on hot humid days here in japan it soaks right through the leather. I would expect the nylon to be even more susceptible to soaking if gotten wet. If carrying important documents getting wet would be a somewhat negative thing. Just wondering, not knocking or anything.
During our testing period we have had no problem with sweat affecting anything inside the belt. If you were to take the belt underwater then we may have an issue
David... dude there's this AMAZING awesome tactical survival bushcraft item to carry your stuff around... it's called pockets...seriously, you don't need these gimmicky products.
I made one with a zip money belt, in that I carry cash, bandaids, alcohol wipes, water bag, purification tablets, fishing kit, snares, firesteel, tinder, cordage, duct tape and cable ties. But the most important gear is in my pockets: olight, lighter and Leatherman Squirt PS4 in coin pocket, and Swiss Army Knife with saw and peanut lighter on a carabiner in back pocket with keys on.
Having traveled all over the world for over 30 years with a m OK net belt I can testify to the basic at the efficacy of the money belt. this appears to be a well done modern version of this great traveler best friend. It looks like they cave choose some pretty nice items to include with their kit so I think I will have to get one.
Wazoo makes the highest quality wearable survival gear. The company has been a dream to deal with. Their ideas are genius and will certainly save someone's wazoo, in fact they already have. Don't hesitate if you have the need. Be prepared!
Wow! Looks like a great piece of gear. Thanks for showing it. Seems like survival choices in this modern day are so endless and refined to such a level that we have a greater degree of success out there if the need ever arose. Thanks again David.
Robin: "Holy utility belts Batman! This thing has more than yours! Even Superman bought one!" Batman: Clinches fists, grits his teeth, shaking his head while walking away and says, "And he called my effing belt ridiculous?!" And that my friends is how the whole Batman vs. Superman thing really got started.
Hey everyone, the greatest success that I have ever had was with the Marla survive system (i found it on google) without a doubt the most helpful preppers that I have ever followed.
There are many of factors in prepping. One resource I discovered that successfully combines these is the Marla Survive System (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the best survival website i've seen. look at the incredible free video.
SW2CARLSMITH, We have done some testing using the Belt as a gun belt and we have a great photo on our Kickstarter displaying this. Thanks, -Brent and The Wazoo Crew
Any feedback on TSA encounters while wearing this thing stuffed with gear? I could see them detaining such a well prepared passenger as their concerns/job would be different than ours.
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na, BATMAN! But, seriously, if Murphy were alive, today, he would say that the piece of gear you need will ALWAYS be the piece all the way at the bottom of your pack... Nice set up.
I like and prolly will participate. I would only have one thing I would change. The buckle front logo. 1st, someone sees this or knows Wazoo name and 1st thing they want is your belt, then your wallet. :) Also, The branding in the buckle front... "Wazoo!?" Sigh... My child hood memories are filled with hearing "Straight up the WAZOO! Sorry, it's just a hard thing to forget. But, I'm a pretty handy fellow. Will find a way to cover (art work) or adapt a new buckle. Okay, looks legit to me. I've used a number of cash belts. I'd be interested, for sure.
Wazoo Survival Gear, LLC You're welcome, the take-away from that is to seriously consider removing the logo from directly on the buckle. I understand that you want your name in front of the world but, It's an invitation to take the belt when it's whole purpose is to be covert. Your name is getting popular enough to be a give away to its function. Glad someone out there is listening!! :)
looks good. but does the belt have warranty. I just feel like when the velcro wears down it will mess up the belt...? but I'll tell you what the bottle opener sold me... :)
why would i carry a bunch of small stuff inside my belt instead of putting them in a small waterproof (which the belt isnt) bag and tying it to my hip? i dont get the practicality at all. the mirror in the belt buckle is cool though.
The point is to be worn everyday, even in business attire. Most people would not want to wear a bulky funny looking pouch around their workplace, right?
There are other "money belts" out there. For under 20 bucks Ive been using the Eagle creek for years that holds over 1500.00 easy. For those who care how much cash can be carried? Does anyone know? Thanks. Thank you for taking the time to show us the belt and how it can be used in wilderness.
Jörg, I know this is a late comment, but just wanted to make sure you knew that we send out updates via Kickstarter. There's a lot of information there, but in summary, just want to let you know that we are disappointed that one of our vendors has missed deadlines that has caused the entire project to be behind, however, things are still going forward and we PROMISE you will get your Cache Belt.
Wazoo Survival Gear, LLC . Hey. Thank you for that answer. I did figured it out that i didn't get the Kickstarter news. On these i know now how to get Updates.
Wazoo Survival Gear, LLC I suppose cleaning the dust off the cap by rubbing it on my crotch doesn't help either. LOL. All joking aside, Thank you for your response. I understand that you are trying to make your product as useful as possible and that we don't necessarily need to use every function just because it exists, but why does everyone that makes a gadgets include a bottle opener when most bottles have a twist cap? I think people see this and are quick to jump to the conclusion that it is a gimmicky POS. I see this as a missed opportunity to customize the belt to the mission at hand. You could have buckets specific to survival, medical, escape and evasion, or everyday life. I want to make it clear that the existence of a cap lifter in no way invalidates this belt as a useful tool, and it is not my intention to discredit your product. How large is the pocket in the belt? Will it accommodate a 22" bow saw blade (Mors Kochanski style). In a survival belt the buckle could have a high carbon steel striker with a bearing block for friction fires. How ridged is the belt? Is it a suitable gun belt? Have you considered making a limited IFAK belt? Some of the things that might work well are the rats or tk4 tourniquet, nasal pharyngeal airway, O.B. tampons, steri-strips, and Celox granules. It would be neat if the buckle had a medical symbol on the front, a place for your blood type and allergy information on the back and storage for a 14 gauge x 3.25 needle for Decompression of Tension Pneumothorax. The challenge in making one of these is that most people that would wear one also need it to be rigid enough to support a firearm. In an escape and evasion belt you could include a handcuff key, compass or a lockpick set in the buckle.
I would love to answer each question one by one, but maybe some of these we have already answered. Have you checked out the actual campaign page. It shows many more of the functions and specs? (and in fact includes some of your very specific suggestions)
To be fair, it's only really America that has mostly twist offs. Elsewhere in the world, bottles are capped the old fashioned way so you do need something to open it. I agree that you don't need a bottle opener on everything though. I've only ever used the one on my Swiss army knife
And it needs Bobby pins/paperclips (for picking handcuffs) and a couple standard lockpicks. Better safe than sorry when travelling to places it's common for "visitors" to get locked up... Often by people that do NOT have your best interest at heart. Seen that first hand.
Wazoo Survival Gear, LLC Hey! It's Wazoo! Thanks for letting me know, I saw there was a bit of a delay on the last update. But that's ok, I love the products you guys make, quality stuff. Keep the good work!
Phant4sm right, Im getting very tired of the excuses from month to month. Give us what we ordered and payed for. At this point they should be gibing us a discount.

looks cool. great price point, to be fair, but I'm very much a diy guy so I will be making my own with some customization. Not sure why they feel the need to KickStarter this product though.
"TSA approved" I am pretty sure that their normal employees still will not be amused and to relaxed when their body scanner shows all kinds of secret stuff inside your belt somehow. :-p
As of right now we do not have a video specific to this situation but we are working additional videos that will showcase certain aspects in greater detail. We appreciate all the feedback and support.
Dave if thats really your kit your not going to make it back.. If you get lost you can tell the rest of the group....don't worry I got some thread and some safety pins.. we're going to be okay
almost a 100.00 for a Velcro belt with less than $3.00 worth of gear, why? Hate to say this cause I like and watch channel but seams like a major rip-off.
Haha, actually, we ended up getting a custom run of aluminum sheeting that is thicker than any availible on the commercial market. "Tin foil" is a very versatile material, why do you hate it so much?
lol, I want to see someone actually go through TSA security with that belt with all that "TSA" approved stuff in it! that's going to draw all sorts of red flags!
Well traderjoes you were right. It's almost been a year since I pledged. Still no belt very few updates and still no belt.
GREAT idea!!! But I have webbing, velcro strips, a sewing machine and 'D' rings, so I'll make my own for about $5 and add stuff I already have from my EDC and survival stash. Very cool idea though. Good luck with the campaign.
Go for it! Most people aren't the DIY type, so have at it. Send us a picture of how it turns out.
+Wazoo Survival Gear, LLC I well guy great idea and products cheers
Agree, way too high of price for such low quality.
I can't say it's low quality, but more along the lines of something too simple for the price. about half an hour and $7 of materials and one could be made very easily.

Hey David just want to say I'm a really big survivalist at 14 years old and you helped me w/ tips and tricks and some gear to get Thank you!!!!!!!!!
That's really awesome, quite an impressive amount of engineering they put into it.
Sounds great
Can you compare it to the alpenlore survival belt
good ideas guys it's like a money belt from back in the day but upgraded for our lifestyles. it is actually a really good idea. you could get separated from your pack etc... your gonna have your belt on!
good job. I'd love to eventually review one.
Exactly! You "get it"!
Wow, a quick reply, valid examples and explanation. Unfortunately, you don't find that with most companies. I knew I liked you guys! Thanks for understanding where I was coming from. Keep pumping out those great products Wazoo!
Of course! Thanks for the support!
Where is the video where the stuff is put to use?
How long is the belt, will it go around bigger guys?
How is sweat going to affect the belt and the items inside? I have a leather cash belt and on hot humid days here in japan it soaks right through the leather. I would expect the nylon to be even more susceptible to soaking if gotten wet. If carrying important documents getting wet would be a somewhat negative thing. 0:28 what's the third knife down?
so the minimalist doesnt have the built in mirror? which version has the mirror?
The adventure version is going to have the mirror. So not on the minimalist and essentials.
David... dude there's this AMAZING awesome tactical survival bushcraft item to carry your stuff around... it's called pockets...seriously, you don't need these gimmicky products.

I can wear it around my waste huh? might fix description to waist instead lol
It looks like a convenient item but is it water proof? If not, all the items you put inside the belt will be wet and some of them may be broken.
Wazoo makes the highest quality wearable survival gear. The company has been a dream to deal with. Their ideas are genius and will certainly save someone's wazoo, in fact they already have. Don't hesitate if you have the need. Be prepared!

Does anyone know the name of the knife around his neck?
Probably one of the best grayman belts I've ever seen!!!
You're going to love it. We've only improved it sense David's version!
Wazoo Survival Gear, LLC any update on time? Been a while now....
Is the belt waterproof?
Can you change out buckle ? Thanks
The buckle is removable but it is a cool Wazoo buckle with a built in bottle opener.
Thanks
does the belt come in big sizes wazoo site is not clear
We are looking to offer the belt in two different sizes that would accommodate waist sizes 28" - 55".
Robin: "Holy utility belts Batman! This thing has more than yours! Even Superman bought one!"
Batman: Clinches fists, grits his teeth, shaking his head while walking away and says, "And he called my effing belt ridiculous?!"
And that my friends is how the whole Batman vs. Superman thing really got started.
Haha!
You made me laugh!!! Thanks
You can get Survival kit discount at *tinyurl(dot)com/hkz8vja*. Upto 90% off. Thanks, Heriberto.

Like the look of it but if its going to be an EDC belt for me I need to know how well it will work as a gun belt. Any testing in that department?
It's not a gun, nor is it meant to fit with a gun belt. It might though.
SW2CARLSMITH,
We have done some testing using the Belt as a gun belt and we have a great photo on our Kickstarter displaying this.
Thanks,
-Brent and The Wazoo Crew
just what I have been looking for, you guys are creative genius. keep up the great work
Thanks Hotrod!!!

Just Awesome
way to come back to RUclips swinging for the fences with a cool piece of gear. Enjoy your trip.
We appreciate the awesome feedback and we are definitely swinging for the fences.
I like and prolly will participate. I would only have one thing I would change.

You're welcome, the take-away from that is to seriously consider removing the logo from directly on the buckle. Glad someone out there is listening!! :)
Yeah I agree. I wouldn't want the name on the buckle
So the belt is not available in a 36"?
It is! We are going to offer it to fit sizes 30-55.
Great, well you guys are now my first kickstarter adventure. I signed up for the Minimalist....how do I designate the size?
Thanks
looks good. but does the belt have warranty. I just feel like when the velcro wears down it will mess up the belt...? but I'll tell you what the bottle opener sold me... :)
The belt will fall along with our Lifetime Warranty. Go grab you one.
That photon beam "LED" light!lol, Must be from star trek.
So sorry I don't personally know that reference, but check out Photon Light the brand. American made, waterproof, tough, and BRIGHT!
Wazoo has great stuff, I got in on this from kickstarter........what size waist do these belts fit?
Ben, We're hoping to make multiple sizes that can fit up to 55".
Great, My belt size is 42"
Wow. This is the best belt what i ever seen
We feel the same as you.
Die wichtigste Funktion ist immer der Flaschenöffner 😀👍
Cool. Going for the minimalist as I have all the items in various tins/kits already.. - I just wish it came with the signal mirror...
We are looking to offer the signal mirror as a retrofit after the campaign.
Keep your eyes peeled!!
What is the name of your shirt ??
Had something similar back in the 80's
The problem with Velcro is noise. May or may not be a problem.
That is credibly practical. I'm buying this and maybe customizing it my own way.
this belt is made of fockin WIN!
Great vid, thanks! Question- who makes the neck knife?
why would i carry a bunch of small stuff inside my belt instead of putting them in a small waterproof (which the belt isnt) bag and tying it to my hip? i dont get the practicality at all. the mirror in the belt buckle is cool though.
The point is to be worn everyday, even in business attire. Most people would not want to wear a bulky funny looking pouch around their workplace, right?
Thanks for the video, just pledged and can't wait until January to get mine...
Thank you for the support!!
I love it bro great idea and stuff inside sweet going over to kick start now thank man
Thanks bro!
I like it! I've just had lots of bad experiences with Kickstarter and now I avoid them. I'll wait until it's available outside of Kickstarter
Understandable! But just know, we're more than a fly-by-night Kickstarter company. We've been around, and we deliver. Thanks a lot!
Wazoo Survival Gear, LLC are you guys really shipping on 3/31/19?
Just take my money!!! Ordered an Adventure Belt off Kickstarter.
Thanks!!!
What's the price for this belt?
great belt! I may have to get one ;)
The Dragon Lady,
Thank you and should definitely grab you one!
I need this belt! Too bad I don't have a pair of pants with belt loops...
*Goes off to buy some pants and this belt + a wazoo survival bracelet*
Haha! Yes!
yes thank you
no thank you
Looks like a great belt! but I thought fero rods weren't allowed by TSA anymore? Which is funny since you can still take a lighter.
Haven't seen anything on the TSA website that bars a ferrocerium rod, have you?
from what i've read it depends on the agents you deal with. We all know sometimes they just want to steal whatever goodies you might have.
I thought I saw it listed on their site before, because of its heat intensity, but alas, I couldn't find it while researching again.
There are other "money belts" out there. For under 20 bucks Ive been using the Eagle creek for years that holds over 1500.00 easy. For those who care how much cash can be carried? Does anyone know? Thanks. Thank you for taking the time to show us the belt and how it can be used in wilderness.
Hey. What is with this belt. They charged my money and then ...... nothing. Please give me some news. Or did get screwed over ?
Jörg, I know this is a late comment, but just wanted to make sure you knew that we send out updates via Kickstarter. There's a lot of information there, but in summary, just want to let you know that we are disappointed that one of our vendors has missed deadlines that has caused the entire project to be behind, however, things are still going forward and we PROMISE you will get your Cache Belt.
Wazoo Survival Gear, LLC .
Hey. Thank you for that answer. I did figured it out that i didn't get the Kickstarter news. On these i know now how to get Updates.
Lady asks if you can open her bottle. Sure thing mam...starts unbuckling pants....awkward.
You actually can leave your pants on. Takes away from the awkward moments.
Wazoo Survival Gear, LLC
I suppose cleaning the dust off the cap by rubbing it on my crotch doesn't help either.
+Wazoo Survival Gear, LLC Can I get the belt without the kit, and if so how much would that be?
To be fair, it's only really America that has mostly twist offs. Elsewhere in the world, bottles are capped the old fashioned way so you do need something to open it. I agree that you don't need a bottle opener on everything though. I've only ever used the one on my Swiss army knife
Love the belts.
That is a cool belt
That is a great idea
And it needs Bobby pins/paperclips (for picking handcuffs) and a couple standard lockpicks. Better safe than sorry when travelling to places it's common for "visitors" to get locked up... Often by people that do NOT have your best interest at heart. Seen that first hand.
You can certainly custom pack it how you want.
I found a nice self defence gun the Walther Pistol PPQ M2 FDE
I just got the last Adventure pack early bird out of 500 on their Kickstarter, looking forward to this when it comes next year!
Thanks for your support Marth! We're still working hard to get you your Cache Belt! You're going to LOVE IT!
Wazoo Survival Gear, LLC Hey! It's Wazoo! Thanks for letting me know, I saw there was a bit of a delay on the last update. But that's ok, I love the products you guys make, quality stuff. Keep the good work!
very cool
Incredible😊😀😆
Thanks Kyriakos!
holy backorder batman! ordered 3 months ago still havent sent becuase they are waiting on a cobra buckle I DIDNT ORDER
Phant4sm right, Im getting very tired of the excuses from month to month. Give us what we ordered and payed for. At this point they should be gibing us a discount.
Really cool idea, I recently went on holiday (a month ago) but I spent 6 months previous trying to find some form or belt / ankle bracelet style concealed carry gismo I could use so I could keep essential EDC/Survival gear on me, cracking idea because as was said previous in the video, those hidden zipper money belts really are garbage for carrying anything more than a few secret notes, best of luck with the kick starter ill see what my bank says on pay day and see if I can pitch in
The need was there and glad you agree. The bank says you are clear to move ahead a procure your Cache Belt.
will try it 😀
Thanks Papa Wolf!
Nice belt.
Thanks!
What the hell is milspec webbing?
Wearing this belt in a meeting at work with the higher ups, probably wouldn't go over to well. Don't start your weekend too early!
The best edc belt is the kore essentials x5 not even a question in my mind. Just wish I would have found it before wasting money on these other belts.
to cool
simply awesome
that's awesome I live wazoo stuff. sadly don't have any😭but I might try to get a product from them soon
Thanks coolkid! Now's your chance!
Bery well designed
Wen you said amazon jungle, i click like button immediatedly.
You can't see any of the stuff the camera is way too far away
Looks great! I need to get my hands on one. Be safe getting home from the jungle man.
not easily accessed quickly
Actually, it is. Why do you think that it wasn't, Dalcho?
looks cool. great price point, to be fair, but I'm very much a diy guy so I will be making my own with some customization. Not sure why they feel the need to KickStarter this product though.
Tell us how it turns out!
Not is, but will be. They're only 6 months behind on production for the Kickstarter run.
But, it is cool, or will be, one day...☹️
Interesting 😎
Thanks a lot!
"TSA approved"
I am pretty sure that their normal employees still will not be amused and to relaxed when their body scanner shows all kinds of secret stuff inside your belt somehow. :-p
Will Credit Cards Fit
Why is this guy wearing sunglasses in the shade???
Billy Breakaho A vane attempt to look cool.
I do it too. 😂😂😂
Didn't show how difficult it probably is to access all of that while the belt is tight around your waist.
We have tested this exact scenario and this is why we have the velcro on the top of the belt.
Is there a video to demonstrate this? Its not so much I am bashing the product just curious.
As of right now we do not have a video specific to this situation but we are working additional videos that will showcase certain aspects in greater detail. We appreciate all the feedback and support.
fat urban peppers be drooling ...
Dave if thats really your kit your not going to make it back.. If you get lost you can tell the rest of the group....don't worry I got some thread and some safety pins.. we're going to be okay
WAZOO? yeah if i wanted to pay 85 bucks for a para cord survival bracelet ! Think I'll stick to amazon.
Was that a Goat knife on his knife? Anyone else see that?
I love to hate on pretty much anything this guy touches. This survival Batman utility belt is no different.
what good is the belt, if I can't get it 'til end of march!
how can I survive, ha ha, and anyone who can't open a bottle, has little chance of living!
Wow what a price! way too high. Why?
almost a 100.00 for a Velcro belt with less than $3.00 worth of gear, why? Hate to say this cause I like and watch channel but seams like a major rip-off.
Haha, $3. That would be great!
Tin foil!!! Fkn tin foil!!! 100 dollars for household items in a goddamn Velcro belt!.!.!.
Haha, actually, we ended up getting a custom run of aluminum sheeting that is thicker than any availible on the commercial market. "Tin foil" is a very versatile material, why do you hate it so much?
I think you miss his point... You guys have cool concepts but are way overcharging for $10 worth of stuff
I find this type of thing overkill with pointless gear... You can get all this and more into a small belt pouch.
ultimate sell out tips
Wouldn't that be USOT? Nice try clorox bleach.
drink me
"Depending on clarity, 8-16 drops per gallon is the recommended amount to purify water." ~This tip brought to you by U.S.O.T.
Much appreciated
i recommend drinking the whole bottle.
Cadê o zoom da câmera? ??😦😡
Câmera "profissional"???
lol, I want to see someone actually go through TSA security with that belt with all that "TSA" approved stuff in it! that's going to draw all sorts of red flags!
