The buckle on mine does not secure well to the belt. I wish it was either sewn or riveted in place so it doesn’t release so easily. The clamp on your buckle looks more substantial than mine. I wonder if I have an older version, idk? I do like the topo buckle. Thank you for the video.
I had a friend mention the same thing the other day and come to find out it's because they were not putting the cut end of the webbing UNDER the latch on the back so thta it closes securely. If that's not clear, please email info@wazoogear.com and I'll explain better. I'm betting that is the issue.
We made some of leather but they just did not have much capacity so we didn't take it to market. Check out this video that makes the Wazoo Cache Belt the best belt for carrying! ruclips.net/video/8C4JLjyBU-Q/видео.htmlsi=ZQDuptyHSJ9MQ86v
Very cool. Never seen a belt like this. Are the inner and outer made from the same material? I wonder what difference it would make if the outside of the belt had a little elastic or spandex in it? (Maybe it does) It would keep things from digging into you (if they do), and perhaps a little larger space. Just thinking. Really cool stuff
The belt won't raise concerns with TSA but prohibited items will (e.g. the ceramic blade) if stashed inside. They almost took my _Resqme_ device because of the tiny sharp blade designed for cutting seat belts but safer than a plastic fork. Foreign security will probably examine the contents. The Mexican airport security examined a plastic thing (about the size of a U.S. quarter coin) I had taped to my plastic belt. Israeli is probably going to take you to a back room. Hopefully they don't put on a glove and ask you to bend over. If you're going through security in airports outside U.S., I would disperse the belt contents throughout my luggage (except for common items found in money belts...cash for example) and reassembling them after clearing any government checkpoint. Pro-tip: carry emergency contact info. in the belt on waterproof paper (embassy locations/numbers, next of kin, rich uncles, hotel addresses, etc.). If you're concerned about thieves, robbers, kidnappers, taking the belt, there are other places/containers/ways to store small items. At some point, one needs to consider if taking such extremes is better than just not going to those places. Best Regards
That is just what I am looking for! I am glad I came across this today.
Just say “yes” to the topo buckle!
Wow, pretty cool!!
Thank you!
Love Wazoo gear, awesome research, development and on going field testing. Love my cache belt, have you guys ever thought about a cache bucket hat ?
Thank you! We're lucky that stuff we want for ourselves, others want too. We do have a Cache Cap and have other designes in the works.
Has anyone had to shorten their belt like cutting off a piece because it a little long

Wish they made two: brown and black leather. A dressy version, especially one that is stiff enough to support a handgun.

@@Wazoo Thanks. Good attempt
Interested maybe offer the topo as a extra (customized to the topo one’s desire)

Want a topo buckle 😊
Yes to the topo buckle!
What do you use the measuring tape for? Obviously measuring, but what?
I'm assuming measuring fish to see if there legal size. Other then that no idea why you'd have one
Do you find you have to take the belt off at every airport?? And do you find the customs people to be suspicious of the belt ?
I put another ceramic blade in my escape and evasion kit
Is the belt sturdy enough to conceal carry?
Check out a 511 operator belt for ccw Carry. 20years i have owned one.
I cut a piece of stiff plastic in it and carry a 365 with it.
@@tcranger85wouldn't that stop you from putting other stuff inside it
I have 3 belts. And 3 paracord bracelets from the old days.
dustin is the GOAT
Do you fly commercially with that belt?
I have never had an issue flying commercially with mine. Just got back from France, but have also been to Mexico with it.
