- Demo recorded at Doctorbass (Burgos-Spain) on October 23rd, 2023
First take, no editing
Direct sound from the bass to an audio interface. No EQ, compression or external audio processing. Just a short Reverb added.
Active Mode, Flat EQ, Both Pickups blended 50/50
Please note: this is not your usual "bass demo" where all the different possibilities of the instrument are shown. Instead, this time we took an alternative approach: Andrés visited us and we put a number of basses in his hands and he just basically played the music that this particular instrument inspired him to play at that moment. All the music in this video is improvised and everything is first take. We feel honored to have witnessed Andres' expertise and super fast adaptation to a bunch of basses that are actually quite different from one another. He really pulled the best music out of each one in a very natural way as you can see and hear.
Enjoy it.

Do you ship to Brazil? :)
Sure, we ship worldwide. Just contact us through our website.
How bright must you crack up the highs? This bass would sound better if you dialed it in correctly but it sounds like trash with the tone maxed out. Roll the trebble down or off.
Thanks for your message.... The bass is in Active Mode but the EQ is flat. The Tone is all the way up so it's letting all the natural High End coming from the active EMG Pickups come through. Of course depending on your taste you can simply roll down the Tone control or bring the Treble down but that's subjective. What you describe as "sounds like trash" is fantastic for other players. It's all a matter of taste. And of course this also has a lot to do with the device you use to play this video.
bay-i da sa boss. Hinaslu na ya iya comment. Very nice tone and playing.
The guy on bass is a virtuoso of the instrument. His performance is flawless as well as the sound of that bass ,wich is,btw kaleidoscopic...you can dial your tone running the gamut from mild to indecent if required
