I like to PvP, and PvE on ARK Ascended. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, sometimes for 100 days. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it switch, xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, steam, epic, it's great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that's what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, usually covering all maps from Island to Fjordur. And one day. ARK 2!

Its starting to feel like the updated maps are going to be 100% adding the things that made the mod maps great. Usable ruins, hidden caves, secluded areas for PVP. I would love to see some set snap points on ruins. Just craft a gate or door and have it snap to an old ruin gate or door frame

I remember neebs gaming i think thick and appsro went to the obs swimming looking for caves on ase and were disappointed, thick would be so happy 💜

Fr i swear every video that this man releases it seems like hes losing his sanity more and more (+ he released 7 videos and an 8h 30min live stream in one day)
My base is in the ruins you explored at 21:15 and ive found a secret passage if you break through a wall in the back theres a narrow tunnel that leads back and down until you find a larger room with cave paintings on the walls and a rex skeleton curled up on the floor. The entrance is well camouflaged and i only found it by accident after i had already spent several days in there. I only wish there was some water in there as I’m running my whole base off of rain water tanks
broke a wall that turned out to be not a wall in one of the ruines.. and there was a hole cave behind it with cave drawings and a grave for a dino and rider. in middle.. i was like wtf.

@@CamSpaghett lat 20.6 long 97.2 take a pick you have to break the wall in a hallway, then break a rock in the back of the secret passage way... i was shocked when it broke because it looks like a fixed game wall.

@@RagedEditZ there is a little building structure under the mountain on the edge looking out into the sand dune. its in one of the hall ways in that structure in the back.

@@RagedEditZ Think I found it. The entrance to the ruins is close to 31.2 lat, 72.5 long. Go pretty much straight back and try the hallway wall a little bit before it opens up to a circle room with high ceiling
that underwater cave reminds me of the movie Dinotopia i wonder if it a reference. in the movie there is a Massive under water crystal cave.

In the 4 hours I was on today I got 4 superheats, 4 electrical storms, 2 sandstorms, and 2 rain storms. I thought the weather on the Island was bad.
Might be a hot take here but everybody hates on Asa, but man they’re doing a great job remaking these maps.
This is definitly worth buying a good pc! Sadly i cant buy one. So many good locations to build, more caves, amazing! Also get some sleep man!
So I can play with 60 fps on Epic with a ryzen 7 5700x & 2070s. Unlike the island it's actually playable w nice graphics settings!
I would have loved a Tek Cave entrance in the new Wyvern trench cave
That first giant cave you were in had loot drops in it when I was there on SP
that underwater cave reminds me of the ark 2 trailor with santiago .. even has the room with the waterfall they all hid in.
Any of you guys that bought the adventure pack, is it worth it? And do you get more thatn 25fps in this map or is it still the same?
100% worth it. The SE pack alone has so many nice little rp items like the poker table (which actually lets you play poker), the piano that acts as a jukebox of all the different map soundtracks, and the cart that lets you pull a buildable platform with most medium dinos like paras, horses, trikes, etc. Plus the cosmetic skins all look great

Any idea what the point of the eel pit in the one cave is for? Seems dumb for there not to be something special at the bottom after fighting them lol

I love the cart behind the dinos i mean i put 16 chairs on it so basicly you can sit with 17 people on a thyla or equus or parasaur (Idk if it works on more dinos)
Just from my current playthrough: thyla, para, equus, anky, trike can all equip. Equus seems the best for a mobile base since its fast. Thyla is dumb as it can still climb with the cart. Anky is convenient since you can load the cart with furnaces for the metal it gets

They made it real harder for ppl playing with upgrade station mod,its so hard to find metal at the early stages,you need only 10 metal though,even finding that is a chore.
First cave near red obelisk looks kinda like Rockwells area before being transformed

7:58 i might be wrong but does the podium rock look like the main landmass? Maybe its like treasure locations or some secret.
Its probably where they wanted to put the artifact before they didnt add any new ones (i think they ran outa time or smth)
@FrogVoid1 maybe but even then, this doesn't feel like it was an artifact cave. It's too peaceful (honestly i havent seen any creatures in the cave) and no notes or even ruins are present.
Plus it's so close to the red obelisk artifact cave I doubt it would be another.
But no matter if its somehow unfinished or a puzzle to solve. This cave is strange.

with those new caves, are there artifacts in there or are they just caves, like they just didnt spawn in when you went there? are there more than just the manticore?
either way, even though ill never get to play asa, im glad scorched got the love it deserved. i never liked scorched, it was always just my least favorite map, but im glad it got the upgrade. it always felt like it couldve been so much more, but it wasnt. the boss was easy and anticlimactic, all the caves could be done on foot, and it was disappointing. im so glad wildcard stepped up and added all these new things
Yo is there a way to delete only one map at a time? As far as I can tell, if I wanted to restart say just the island, I have to sacrifice my scorched earth save. Is there a way around this?

While new artifacts would be welcome, I think I prefer the empty-ish caves. They feel like the other artifact caves, but they haven't been occupied yet, almost as if we can make our own "artifact cave." We are now the survivors who will leave cave ruins for future people.

Also think that crystal cave is supposed to be a hint at abberation. Cause if i remember right the surface of ab is scorched earth is it not?
Ab surface insta-kills you in daytime. Like its all literally on fire. The rocks are different from se. I do think theyre trying to unite the map designs more visually though

Edit: all my progress got wiped out and i was repeatedly crashing. I got so angry that I just added the ascension.
Was it the right decision? Nah but I Lost 4 months of progress and i hate the island now

He’s the one who fell in love with the Egyptian priestess right? One of his is by far my favorite where he says a pack of mantis broke a water pipe, but when engineers went to fix it the mantis ambushed them, the bugs set a trap. Then in a later explorer note he said dozens of them attacked the city, he said something like “it wasn’t like a wolf pack or other animal, they moved like men, coordinated and purposeful movements” the 7 foot 8 praying mantis planned a RAID on a human city 😅, another note said they’ve been seen playing with a pickaxe, and their dossier says it seems they make repeated sounds in specific orders like they actually have dialect of some kind. Next I’m expecting to see a mantis one handing a assault rifle on the back of a rex 🤣😅

12:40 Really? I think the ruins look worse than before. Not all but the building as entry to the cave looks so simple. Also in the cave the straight stairs. Looks like newly build. A lot of repeating textures, too. Overall the remake looks good. The only downers for me are some of the ruins and the sand, which looks very flat.

It crashed for me twice so far, first with one of those survivor notes and then wile uploading my survivor at the obelisk. It does seems to crash less in SE so far. @@mikiesGamingOasis
@@powerblazing3603uploading is a known issue rn. And it seems like you need either a better cpu, or just clean your drives as this runs perfectly fine for me
La verdad esta re heavy muy costoso, eh comprado todo lo de ARK desde evolved hasta ascended pero la verdad esto esta muy costoso, tal vez mas adelante, cuando baje un poco de precio, por q obvio va a bajar, en mi humilde opinion creo que le hubieran agregado mas cosas, al menos par de criaturas mas por mapa, siempre eh pensado que las criaturas no sobran, le dan mas vida a los mapas
