922 - Without Spot or Wrinkle - Walter Veith

Does Ephesians 5:27 intimidate you? “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” How can we present ourselves to our Lord without spot or wrinkle? Jesus had no flaws. He was made perfect through suffering. Are we in need of trials similar to those faced by Jesus so that our hearts and character might be transformed?
