Resolution:
Series S: 1080P, 30FPS and 60FPS
Series X: 2160P,, 30FPS and 60FPS
PlayStation 5: 2160P, 30FPS and 60FPS
- The city is only available on Series X|S and PS5, in this area the game runs at 30FPS, this game is GEN9 and PC version is on GEN8 - therefore not included. Additional comparison with Nintendo Switch/Steam Deck and last-gen could follow
- Series X and PS5 seemed upscaled from a native 1080P resolution
- Day/Night cycle takes 4 hours to complete, recordings were a bit slow due to waiting and timing. Xbox and PlayStation were in sync with the cycle
- Cinematics during plays are also 30FPS, note that some of the drops on 60FPS during a match could be caused by switching between cinematics and gameplay
- Overall good performance, minor drops but nothing really noticeable during gameplay
- Loading times fastest on PS5

Xbox Series S power efficiency
Can't believe the series S can run this game just as good as the big boiiss.
You can still a tell a difference when actually playing..I got a series s in bedroom and it’s different then playing on the series x in living room..it’s not as smoove and doesn’t look as good..the series s is still a great console but 2k looked better on the one x then series s lol sad to say

but then again if u want the best graphics in ur games the ps5 has even better graphics then the series x in my opinion, after i got a ps5 spiderman 2 edition, with tekken 8 and 2k24, tekken 8 and 2k24 look way better on ps5 than the series x no doubt. Plus the ps5 loadtimes are so fast it's crazy, I'm guessing all the games soon to come out will also look and load the best on ps5 still.

Are we still doing graphic comparisons through compressed RUclips videos in 2024😂 Xbox or PS I promise you they both look amazing & you will not be able to tell a difference in either console
From what I’m seeing is the series X is a little bit more clear and it’s a little bit more detail in the players faces but everything else is the same
I have both consoles and it’s basically the same but different companies. I was testing both consoles out since I have the game on both systems and the only difference is the loading time. PlayStation 5 is faster when it comes to loading a game but Xbox Series X|S kicks PlayStation 5 butt when it comes to quick resume. Xbox Series X|S can play 5 games at once which is really cool. There’s no winners or losers. I enjoy GamePass more than PlayStation Now. PlayStation now is overpriced, while Game Pass is affordable. PlayStation have Spider-Man, Mike Morales, while Xbox have halo and Fort Horizon. Beautiful games. Whatever console your click have, roll with it. Again there’s no winners or loser but the loading times.
My favorite petty pastime is watching blurry series S gameplay.
Is this a thing on the series S ? I’m playing on a 1440p monitor series S, I think 2k24 is blurry. Would upgrading to a series X get rid of the blur and make the game look more sharp? No way is it in 1440p rn

@@tomhaw4259 Series X almost always have an higher internal resolution than Series S, it is not always 1440P or higher but most of the times it is. Don't confuse internal resolution with output resolution but generally speaking from what you write - yes Series X would solve this issue. Older games that have not been patch or something like that will be an exclusion to this though.
What camera angle are you using in the gameplay videos?
I agree, since the PS5 focuses on vibrant colors on the other hand tho, XBOX focuses on details. Good observation!!

Series s is not bad at all if u buy the white one you save a bit of cash if u get the black one it’s 350 more storage but at that point might as well grab the x. I’m prob grab a white series s as I have a OG ps5 now just makes sense for me

well um, my brother got an Xbox One series s but when he plays NBA2K 24 it looks like the graphics are turned down. but is that because the Xbox one s has bad graphics @@ajgamingcomparisons
It is not bad graphics perse, but in general Series S renders games at a lower resolution than Series X and PS5 (same with NBA2K24) resulting in a less sharp image. In most cases when hooked up to a TV, the upscaling built-in to your TV will take some of that "blurriness" away. If it is hooked up to a monitor which doesn't upscale like a TV in most cases, the "blurriness" will be more present.
might be that NBA 2k is not optimised for Series S.
weird open surprise said ps5 couldnt even hit 60fps, and it was mostly in the 50s
PS5 has an effect over it that requires pixel-difference to be used in trdrop, in this case it was 5. I guess he forgot to exclude the static beam in the bottom that will mess up the results with pixel-diff being enabled.

If Xbox is your route and you have the extra money, Xbox Series X is worth the additional investment

I have a series s but I bought the Xbox one version of 2k24 bc it was cheaper and took up less hard drive space, the series s version is on game pass RN so I downloaded it and it doesn't look or play a generation ahead of the Xbox one version, I was disappointed.

It has nothing to do with the console. It centers the TV genius. If the TV is 4K it's obviously beautiful😂

Of course, and when you have a good internet connection you can stream those game, who doesn't run great on series s (Gamepass Games)
if you really want next gen go for X. Details a lot more sharper and it's very immersive. I have series S, and it's also really decent, however, when you see that crispness in xbox X or PS5, you want more and you know that Series S is not the best thing in the market.
