So here's the lore breakdown. BOI WHAT is a AI project by Mathue, otherwise known as Eli Strobeck, which produced on songs like House Of Cards by Deadlands and Paralyzed by Conquer Divide. Two great bands by the way. Everything instrumentally and lyrically is created by him and the only AI aspect of it is the vocals to an extent because he does the singing and screaming and then lets the AI do the voices over his voice. But then further on produces it to sound the way you see it here in the final product. It's like a normal track with extra layers. There are techniques in AI art where you can setup a lot of the composition and design on your own and have the AI fill in the blanks so to speak, but that would be described by said critics as 'letting ai do all the work'.

Try out the band Confusing Paradise, Eternal Seas or Overthinking, they're refreshing! I totally get you on the state of Metalcore. Like you, I'm also more partial to the Progressive Metal, TesseracT-like airy and ethereal stuff.
I know that GPT just guesses what the user wants to hear, but it would still be rather scary if an AI wrote a song about how the AI takeover is coming and we will just stay there and cheer for it as it happens, lol

There are A.I.s that can sing. They're trained on actual vocalists who do get paid if that A.I. is used, at least as far as I'm aware. This is likely A.I. assisted.
Jokes aside, I REALLY would love this to be a real (non joke) song, because I love the instrumentals. The AI voice takes me out of it including the subject matter. I think this has actual potential.
