You can prepare the green beans and refrigerate them. The dressing can also be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Combine everything together a few minutes before the party and serve :) Enjoy!
Teri Havlik the beans were not blanched they were cooked for nearly 10 mins until just cooked but firm. To blanch, means to boil for only 1 or 2 mins then rapidly cool in iced water. :)

Mediterranean string beans sre dark.. long and skinny ..my grandfather grew them..but i never see them for sale today..
