The quartz for me. Especially if you can score a great deal, there out there. I love Tag…. Bought a quartz diver 30 years ago to celebrate my daughter and it’s still going strong.
I hate that the quartz is so pricey but it's still no maintenance , no date (never have to really unscrew teh crown) and can take more shock /magentism. I have the 43mm 300m version and it's nice but starting to hate having to wind my watches when I want to wear them (and no not getting a winder lol). I also like the 40mm as the 43mm is really starting to feel heavy for me.
Hi Brad, I'm with you regarding your preference. However, TH missed a trick by not opting for solar power with the quartz: that would avoid battery life issues. I would also have the Oris diver range and the Tudor Ranger / Black Bay 36 models on my radar. Some German divers, not to mention Citizen and Seiko models would also fit the bill. Have a good week bud, sell lots and give us more videos! Cheers, Bob 🍻
Neither. Both are kinda ugly now with the plain silver bezel and odd looking rippled dial. The Tags of a few years ago looked much nicer, Omega and Rolex looking level better. Glad I got mine earlier
No one did a side by side comparison for the quartz and automatic version, thanks a lot !!
You bet, hope it was helpful.

The quartz model is awsome❤
Wish they included the quick-adjust clasp that's on the Aquaracer Pro 300s
Why what for? Those clasps look like clasps on a childs watch. Have your bracelet fitted right and dont worry about it
Prefer the automatic movement, the quartz dial 😊

Quartz is a great watch
Does this mean that a TAG automatic will never need its battery changing like a quartz model?
Correct, it's an automatic movement without a battery.
It will need servicing which is much more complicated and expensive than changing a battery.

They now have a solar version!
What if the watch seldom sees the sun?
Go read about it on their site! I believe ~just a day’s worth of sun = 6 months charge.
Are these screw down bracelet or pins ?
From memory they are pins, but will need to confirm.

38 hour power reserve??? on a watch that’s over $2k???? WHAT A FUCKING JOKE 🤣🤣🤣🤣
