Mine arrived yesterday, and I set it up with my Gopro 10, and it's awesome so far. It handles the weight of my wireless microphone and adapter. It's so easy to use, and it's going to help change the direction of my videos!Greg
Thank you! To be honest, I am impressed with the gimbal, I only have an iPhone 11, so I’d imagine with a better camera it would be an incredible combo! Best of luck and thanks for the comment!
For the active track can you chose on what you would like to active track? Like lets say a dog, if it does I know it would use app, but can you make it a permanent feature without app?
Just bought my M6! I gasped when you pulled out you Lumecube because I have one too and didn't even think to use it as an attachment! Did the attachment you used for it come with the light or is it a different mount?
Awesome congratulations 🙌 I did not come with the light it was something I found on Amazon a while ago, something similar to this NEEWER 6"/15cm Adjustable Magic Arm with Super Clamp, 1/4" & 3/8" Threads, 1/4" Screws for Flash/LED Light/Microphone/Monitor, Compatible with SmallRig Camera Cage, Max Load: 4.4lb/2kg, ST15C a.co/d/g5bPL30
It is surprisingly very good, the hand gestures help a lot as well, you can recompose also to keep you in certain part of the frame and not just the middle.@@christianbattung2548
Another awesome video and product review. Question, forgive my ignorance.- stock typically doesn’t except many phone photos do they accept more phone videos? Are there phone video guidelines? Thanks Charles! Always enlightened!
Hi! Thanks, I find I get more phone videos accepted than I do photos, same rules apply phones drop quality in low light, so making sure the scene is well lit helps, and slow controlled movements are a must! Usually 5 secon clips, 4K is best since everything shoots 4K now Key wording and stuff is a bit different with video but it’s worth the extra few minutes
I’m not sure, I’ll have to do the test, but so far it kept me in frame as far as 15 feet, I just didn’t do a distance test, I’ll try it and let you know in a few days (I’m out ildoung a photo shoot and don’t have the gimbal with me)
@wollertz you're welcome! Just got my m6 in the mail a couple days ago! I'll be using all your neat tips on jow to get the most use out of it going forward!
that is done thru the app, theres a selection square with a dot in the middle, thats for object selection and then theres a selection square with a person in the middle for tracking people, you can select an object to track by dragging your finger on the screen, it crates a green selection box
Funny gizmo but before i play with new toy i would prefer to know your experience with monitor calibration. I mean basics of conformity comes before fun and experimentation. Your channel is about selling stuff through image banks, isnt it? Sorry for sounding a bit rough… i love your style, dedication and stance. But if you mean to really help your audience selling pics on shutterstock and adobe stock, i recommend you deal with more urgent topics: for instance monitor settings, differences in images acceptance rules between image banks, differences between right managed and royalty free, issues with automated keyword translation, ergonomy of uploading procedures, why shutterstock still pays 10 cents for some images alghtough we are level 3, and so on… Anyway, i still see your channel as one of the best active ones about succeding with image banks 🙂
I forgot to mention tax policies but maybe this is going toooooo far 😉 PS: i also would love to hear your opinion about contributors who offer vintage pictures through image banks although they obviously did not take these pics because they were not even born then
Hi, thanks for the input. I am currently working on a large project where I address all of these points but it's going to be a while before it is ready. I only started making videos on Stock Photography as my audience kept asking more and more, my channel was initially a Travel Photography channel, but we have to adapt, and so it has been a long transition to how to make an income with photography and videography an that where this little toy comes into play, a large percentage of my audience keeps asking for videos on cell phones, photos and video from cell phones and for that a good gimbal is required as far as monitors... to be honest I have never calibrated my monitor for stock photography, only when I sell prints I calibrate to the printer, for stock I don't find it necessary as each agency has their own monitors, most reviewers work remotely and buyers use different screens, it would be impossible to coordinate this across every monitor out there, the only thing I do and its something I've mentioned in other videos is not to make the screen so bright that the photo is going to be under exposed when you export 🤷♂
Many tx for your kind reactivity although my words could be a bit tough 😇 i understand your viewpoint. Nonetheless monitor calibration could help people who send you pics for review in a context of selling photos through image banks. I am not saying it is something easy to adress 😉 Then if you have a big project about sharing your experience with making money through image banks, i recommend you divide it into smaller projects. Always better to publish small videos often than big ones ocasionaly 😉 I hope you will also eventually address the other topics i mentionned 😇 Your opinion is important for me. Many of your former videos convinced me that your experience with selling travel photography is valuable. I have « some » knowledge and experience in this field but i need to learn more! The other youtube channels about this topic are now either dead or commercial….
@@wollertz Thanks. Yes that works for about $31 savings (better than nothing for sure - but not that huge $40 they apparently rescinded without telling you)?? Enjoyed your video!
Thank you, and I’m sorry, I like the gimbal a lot, but I don’t understand why they changed the code. I will update my link. I wish they would have communicated with me the changes, again I apologize, and congratulations I’m sure you will love the gimbal!
Just bought one of these because of this video, thank you!!!

Great job! Very informative! I just bought one after seeing this video. I have an S23 Ultra and iPhone 14pro, curious to see how it does with the s23

Will the tracking system follow objects. Like an rc car speeding by?
Only the phone tracking, not the little camera
For the active track can you chose on what you would like to active track? Like lets say a dog, if it does I know it would use app, but can you make it a permanent feature without app?
not with the AI tracking, you can choose tracking using the phone app only.

Great video! Congratulations 🎊
Thank you! It was fun to film 😂
@Wollertz Photography Absolutely! We can see your inspiration. I like your small planet earth robot 🤖 👍👍
😅👍🏻
@@wollertz 👋
That is simply too cool! Interesting video.
Thank you!
Thank you for the review! By the way, what is the range of the tracking?
Up to 3 meters or 9 feet is what the paperwork says, I’ll have to test it to make sure
Thank you! I just ordered it based on your review! Will have to test it out.
Seems like the tracking can “track” fast motions?

Nice gimbal. New features are amazing. Incase you're giving away, we've been dying to get one for our smartphone filmmaking oneday
It is a great little tool, I'm actually impressed, There is a $40 discount code in the video description!

I will be recording myself skateboarding using a stationary tripod. How many feet away does the tracking work before it stops tracking? Thank you

Well the tracking track objects
the app has a feature for tracking objects, not the AI camera, but the app will do that
Bro! Awesome review!
Thank yoU! 🙏
@wollertz you're welcome! Just got my m6 in the mail a couple days ago! I'll be using all your neat tips on jow to get the most use out of it going forward!
I have been trying to see how I can track an object in front of the camera. For example, how do I lock onto an object like a plant or a chair
that is done thru the app, theres a selection square with a dot in the middle, thats for object selection and then theres a selection square with a person in the middle for tracking people, you can select an object to track by dragging your finger on the screen, it crates a green selection box
@@wollertz Thank you
Is that just for the new iPhones or can’t fit older iPhones like 8 plus ?
It can fit pretty much any phone, find the app “Hohem joy” to make sure your OS supports the app
@@wollertz ok, thanks, yeah I have a iPhone 8 Plus and don’t have a 12,13,14
Mines the 11 🤷♂️
Impressive
It really is!
Nice video.. Bro..... Informative... 👍👍
Thank you!
Awsome
Thanks!
can we track objects with this tracking feature instead of humans ?
Yes, the app has an object tracker feature. Not the AI eye though, thats just for people.
