- We are catching spiny lobster at night in the Florida Keys. We took kayaks out at night to try and catch lobster and look for sharks and fish. We were able to catch two lobsters and see lots of other fish including nurse sharks, blacktip sharks, stingrays, hermit crabs, tarpon, snapper, spadefish, barracuda, houndfish, and hermit crabs. We used underwater lights hooked to a 12-volt deep cycle battery.
Here is an article on how to catch spiny lobster.

HI Cody! Amazing video! You DEFINITELY deserve more views and subs.
Thanks, we went out again tonight and say a huge stingray get attacked by a shark or crocodile. I will post that video soon!
So cute!
Thanks, and thanks for watching!
@@CaptainCody7 Going to give bully netting a try this evening! Fingers crossed!
Lite tackle. Have had 4 and now net off a Crew and use CK1 for ponds off the trail. Using 100 watt halogens on 90ah battery. Really like your lighter
setup. Can you tell me what lights you run? I was trying a 31ah agm but only got 2 hrs. The 90 is a beast. Thanks.
Yeah, 31 ah should be more than enough to run bright lights for 10 hours. The trick is to get LED lights, not halogen of filament bulbs. These are way more efficient. The underwater lights are only around 10 watts and will run for days. The spotlight I had was WOW LED Light Bar with Magnetic Base, 27W Portable. I might link to it in the article provided in the video description. Thanks for watching!
Hi bro can I join you bro
I am not in the keys right now. If you get a kayak and a light there are lobster all over the Florida Keys. Just look along the ledges and grass flats.
