He/she will lead us to practical realisation through the practice of sadhana. Story of rustic villager, his experience in devotion is very much similar to my path. I experience same, when I attend JKYog satsang in Hyderabad and also in Swamiji's retreat. Mere theoretical knowledge with is not accompanied by practice and experience leads to darkness greater than the darkness which results with lack of knowledge as it leads to pride of being knowledgeable. With real knowledge and experience comes humility that we don’t know anything and is easier for us to surrender to our master, God!

There is no faith without knowledge, without faith love for God will not developed. Bhakti yog is the simple and easiest path to attain God but first we need to get knowledge. Thank you Swamiji.
God remains in the region of our heart. Through loving devotion like the Villager in the video we connect with God. Spiritual knowledge purifies our heart and mind and prepares us to receive Graces from God.
Very insightful post by Swami Ji! It’s true that even if you have knowledge but without practicals it’s nothing. Vedas give us the knowledge of God realization but if we don’t apply this in our real life, how can we think of getting the grace of God!

Radhey Radhey Swamiji . Every Sadhna may it be Karma Yog , Gyan yog, Karma sanyas yog and Bhakti Yog but the conclusion is that knowledge is required how to be humble and surrender to God . For bhakti we certainly require knowledge regarding how to love God , how to serve God for His pleasure without any attachment , Gopi bhav or Gopi Prem is the highest Prem in bhakti . Suka dev ji Maharaj also realised that Bhakti is in higher level than Gyan .finally he studied Bhagavad mahapuran from his father , Vyasadev ji maharaj .
Similarly Udhav Paramhansa ji who was gyani learned Bhakti from Gopis . I want to clarify that to learn Bhakti , Gyan or knowlege is required . Here both Gyanis Suka dev maharaj and Udhav ji maharaj gained knowledge how to develop bhakti . Radhey Radhey

Bhakti yog is easy as God is helping us with his grace .Pure Surrender is required for Bhakti yog
Mere theoretical knowledge with is not accompanied by practice and experience leads to darkness greater than the darkness which results with lack of knowledge as it leads to pride of being knowledgeable. With real knowledge and experience comes humility that we don’t know anything and is easier for us to surrender to our master, God!
There is nothing pure and sublime like knowledge in the World. Vedas also warn knowledge can lead to ignorance. Mere theoretical knowledge without practical experiment results in pride of learning. Knowledge with humbleness and surrender to omniscient God enlightens us.
Gaining scriptural knowledge is important as it makes us eligible for faith. However, gaining knowledge and not applying it will only lead to pride. Practical knowledge gained under the guidance of a true teacher leads to humility and faith which attract the grace of God.

For surrender, right knowledge is required. The knowledge should be mixed with pure devotion also.
Sit in the ship of divine knowledge and travel across the ocean of life.Divine knowledge will remove darkness (ignorance) only when it is put into practice. Only theoretical knowledge leads to pride of learning. But real realisation leads to erasing pride. The sign of knowledge is Humbleness. Add Bhakti to this divine knowledge. Gyani yog is difficult than bhakti yog , here yog is a union with God which is very difficult. It needs our self efforts and later grace of God . Without our self efforts God never graces us .🙏🙏🙏
Pride of knowledge indicates that it is not complete. It is said that one who knows he is a fool is no longer a fool. A fool is one who thinks intelligent.
Swami ji you talk about 1.Gyan yog ,2. Bhakti yog ,but what about the 3. Karm yog.
