You are such a knowledgeable person. If you can make a video on age care and age pension will be very informative

This is really unfair if the land is not usable or divisible. Why do they do this?

I guess is to have some rules and limits for all. Also if one has a big land, maybe the rule will force people to sell and have extra cash, hence eligible for lower Age Pension

Just so happens i was pondering this very topic yesterday. I'm on 4 hectares zoned rural living! Does the zoning matter? I'm on one title and will have lived here for over 20 years by 67. Thanks for another very informative video. This i a huge problem for a lot of country people if you can call having too much land a problem.

Zoning does not matter, the size does. it is good you will reach 20 years of ownership by age of 67

I love your channel! I’m planning to build a granny flat to rent out. Will it affect my husband and my age pension?

I wish it was that easy, but it depends on the type of pension you have, commencement date, how much money is invested and what other assets / incomes you might have.

    Hi Catherine
I'm pension age in December and as I have no super and limited saving would like to retire in Asia for a better standard of living.
My wife is 62 if she comes with me will she be able to claim the age pension when she reaches pension age.
We have both worked in Australia all our life.
    Thanks in Advance Mark

Hi Mark, it depends on the country you want to go to, but most likely if this is Asia, your wife would need to return to Australia for 2 years when applying. There are couple of videos on this channel on this very topic so watch them closely. they are helpful

@@Matlockization Hi May advice is most certainly for all Australians, regardless which part of Australia or even overseas you live. Centrelink rules, taxes, investments are in place for the whole country.

I am totally thankful for your informational videos for the aged pensioners here. But I notice you have not replied to anyone who is watching and supporting your channel! This is not a good way to gain respect and confidence in your advice and following!

I try to answer where I can see a question, but also I run a very busy practice, so I am quite time poor.
