Nice to keep on top of the limits as we approach age pension. It never hurts to be reminded of the details that can trip you up when you are applying or living on the pension. Maximising the entitlements makes the money last longer. More choc tops at the movies. Lifes little luxuries that make it worth living.

Does your superannuation asset/balance count towards the asset test?
    What about your primary residence?

Big questions, impossible to reply in one sentence, but just search through my channel and find related videos. All your questions are answered.

Assets, does that include the house? I would have to sell my house.

The low deeming rates centerlink currently are using expire june next year. Do you know if this will be extended or will the deeming rates increase dramatically?

I am positive the low deeming rates will not be extended. It is difficult to guess, as deeming rates are based on cash rates at the time, so hopefully inflation is not going too high to push rates and consequently deeming rates.

Is super assessed as an asset?
