    How would you compare this with the Switch in terms of stability and as a kayak?

    Awesome review. Just ordered the 12' explorer pro using your link. Cannot wait to get it out on the Deschutes!

    Thanks for a great review, it helped me make the decision to get a 14' and rig it with two seats as a tandem for me and my wife. We'll use it as a paddle board solo as well in the furture. Isle's BOGO offer this fall is just awesome and great customer service too. Quality is top notch, just as good as my Red Sport and in some ways better quality.

    Trying to decide between Explorer Pro Hybrid 12ft and Switch 2, 24:44 24:44 11'6" hybrid. I own a 6 yr old Isle inflatable. 35" wide, 10'6" with 3 fins. I'm a 76 yr old woman, 100 lbs. I live on a lake and am a decent paddles. Looking for something that glides better and goes faster than the board I own. My lake is mo wake, so not bumpy. But we do get pretty high winds and currents. What would be the pros and cons of each based on my needs? Thanks!!

    How would you compare the stability of the Explorer Pro 12 vs the Pioneer Pro 10 6? I do most of my paddling in a lake with a lot of boat traffic, so we can get a lot of chop on the really busy days.
    I assume the Pioneer will have more stability, but is it significantly more in rougher conditions?
    Great review-vid quality is outstanding!

      I will say that the Pioneer Pro is a little more stable. However, these are some of the most stable boards we've tested this year, and that holds true to the Explorer Pro 12 as well.

    Explorer Pro looks great. Unfortunately, I found out that although Isle sells their boards in the EU, Explorer series boards are offered only in the US and Canada.
    Which board would be the most comparable to the longer Explorer Pro? Maybe something similar is available in the EU.

    So what would you recommend for a touring board for camping long distance

    I have an Isle inflatable that is about 6 years old. I have 2 questions --- 1.My SUP has 3 fins. What difference do you notice with just one fin? 2. The middle carrying strap on mine broke, making it impossible to carry. I can't find a way to replace it that works. Isle doesn't sell replacement straps.The main probkem is that replacement straps don't stay glued on. I've bought similar straps but they don't stay glued on. Even with the best glue, the straps peel off. I think this is a defect with Isle, because the board will only last as long as the original strap stays on. Any ideas about dealing with this? When I buy a new board, I don't want its life to be dependent on a broken strap.

    On the underside the fin connection is that a standard where I can mount a e-fin motor or like the boost fin?

    • @Islesurfboards
      @Islesurfboards Год назад

      Yes the fin box is a standard US Box and will accept all fins designed for this "universal" style box (including e-fins designed to this standard). We feature a 2-part fin box so that it can fold in the center when rolling up the board for more compact packing.

    Would it work on ocean?

    • @supboardguide
      @supboardguide  Год назад +1

      Absolutly, Isle is located in southern California so they paddle in the ocean all the time. The increased rigidity would also really help as you paddle through small waves as well.

    This or a bluefin cruise carbon?

    • @supboardguide
      @supboardguide  Год назад +2

      The Isle has outperformed the Cruise Carbon in our testing. It's a bit more $$$, but I do think it's worth it. In addition, while the Bluefin Cruise Carbon is super rigid, I personally like the feel of the Isle Pro series quite a bit better - it's more natural and hard-board like than the Bluefin.
