    Heck yeah these inflatables are starting to look more and more like the perfect little family boat. We do RV trips in winter months down south in Florida. Like this one. Also saw that air skiff you posted on IG. It looked a bit bigger than this isle one.

    I truly feel like it is an upgraded version of the SeaEagle PaddleSki. The design has been around for a very long time. Isle just improved on the design by adding loops, Infinity fiber, width, etc. it looks great and I am sure it performs even better. I am seeing a trend of people moving to inflatables. The protection added to the sides and bottom are a great feature that should appeal to people not sure about inflatables.

    This looks interesting. I have a kayak now and want to take my daughter out in the gulf inshore fishing with me. This would make that a breeze.
    Need to do some research on portability, i currently put my Native Titan 12 Propel in the back of my suv with ratchet straps.
    I think I kinda like the idea of this one.

    The only thing keeping me from considering Isle-type construction is durability - this demo leads me to consider shucking the rotomolded kayak for an Isle. The big item swaying me to the Isle is the light weight of the craft for loading/unloading in my pickup truck! I will definitely be considering this! I use the NK300, not Bixby, but I heartily recommend scrapping foot pedal or standard hand steering for extended tiller steering. My 7 foot graphite tiller that I use on my Native Slayer 13 is absolutely a game changer. No more cable issues and a much better control of the motor!

    • @KayakDIY
      @KayakDIY  19 дней назад

      Isle is lighter but another consideration is AirSkiff by tbnation.net w/discount code KAYAKDIY
      I think nk300 will better fit ISLE. However Air Skiff is also durable and has more capability. ISLE can be paddled easier than Air Skiff. Air Skiff can hold bigger motors.
      BTW Boats 2 Go also will hook me up with discounts for viewers. They also have lots of awesome inflatable boats. In fact I’m working with them to design something super unique for 2025.

    I have a pack raft myself its made by a company called Aquaglide. It weighs 10lbs fits in my backpack, deploys anywhere and inflates in under 4 minutes with all my fishing gear and camera equipment. Literally the best $300 I ever spent in my life oh and it's rated for category level 3 rapids. Never will I bank fish again unless I don't need to deploy the pack raft. I live stream and fish with mine pretty much everyday on my youtube channel. I travel all over the US with it. I just throw it in my trunk or my roof top yakima box and I have a boat I can deploy anywhere. The next vessel I am getting I will be featuring soon I don't want to spill the beans on what it is yet...I have boat's kayaks, standup paddle boards and all that other boring stuff but pack rafts and mini skiffs are the FUTURE. Been saying it for over a year now and companies are just starting to catch on.

  • @FilipinoBMW

    Looks cool. Catamaran designs are very hard to beat for their stability. This is great for those who may have transportation issues, such as if they don't have the strength to carry a yak on roof top since it can be deflated easily. I'm curious though about powering it with a trolling motor - does it have to be the one seen in the video or can you add like a Minn Kota to the back. When I see this, it is like for those who want to paddle board fish but want the extra stability and security that your gear won't fall over the side.

  • @TomyTekOutdoors
    @TomyTekOutdoors 28 дней назад

    It's looks pretty cool, but I still love my PA360. I like the ability to have a mirage drive and motor on the back. For an inflatable, I would want to be able to take it on a plane and use it. That's why I got the iTrek 9. I can take it on a plane and everything I need fits in one bag. I don't think an inflatable could ever replace my main fishing kayak. It could for other, but not for me.

    Looks like it would be a great craft for my river, I do question how well it would hold up to hooks and fins.
    Also if it would be ok to just keep on a trailer inflated.
    Also what about bow mount motors?

    • @KayakDIY
      @KayakDIY  27 дней назад +2

      The other inflatable boat I have for filming has bow mount motor mounting plate included.
      As for durability I’ve never had a hook puncture on any of my inflatables yet nor fins. If I fished catfish I would obviously be careful, but still the recent inflatable boats seem incredibly durable. This Flywater and my other brand Air Skiff have hit razor sharp oysters regularly without issue.
      You could leave on trailer inflated if stored in garage or full shade. I wouldn’t store any inflatable out in sun inflated. My Air Skiff is fully inflated in my Florida garage with no issues.

    • @NiteWolfeFishing
      @NiteWolfeFishing 27 дней назад

      @@KayakDIY Thanks! Sounds great for me minus the can store in the sun, Guess if i ever can get a inflatable ill have to build a shade for it. Which is in my plans anyways lol.
      I dont catfish but catch a few, Mainly bass striper and crappie.
      I wonder how deep this drafts.

    • @KayakDIY
      @KayakDIY  19 дней назад

      Insanely. Could bounce them on top of sharp oysters confidently. I also own TBNation’s Air Skiff and it is rock solid reliable. Heat welded seams is the biggest reliability perk though if I’m honest. I probably have discount codes for all brands just in case you start looking more seriously. Just let me know. My Facebook kayakdiy page lists most of our pre-negotiated discount codes.

    • @KayakDIY
      @KayakDIY  21 день назад

      Fine. I have oysters at my house and on my seawall. The inflatables have less damage from oysters than my kayaks! Could literally put the boat on Oyster bar and walk around on it confidently. Hell my next vid is my new truck topper which also is inflatable. I’m huge fan.
