Good review Russ. I like that you get others to try and get their opinions as well.
Thanks Nic, aye I like to get other perspectives - and my range buddies love trying new gear too, so it's win-win.
Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Great review Russ, that's a nice piece of kit 👍👍 and pretty awesome on the shot count 272 shots and a spread of 22 fps.. that's megga... As a new shooter I'm leaning these things from guys like you... So thanks for explaining it's much appreciated.. 👍✌️🤟
Welcome to the world of Airguns Johnny.
Thanks for watching, and Happy Shooting! ...please like and share. 🙏
Cheers. Russ
Hi Russ, just bought the Krait in .22, sub 12, the JTS 16.08gr pellets are brilliant, great review
Great vid you done there Russ, and a, superb rifle..
Cheers Mark, oh it is indeed -I think you can maybe tell I love great Engineering. 🤓
Thanks for watching - please share! 🙏 cheers. Russ
That Can on the muzzle end looks impressive, and the stock ,Russ 👌
The DonnyFL Fat Boy 2.0 fits-in well with the compact lines of the Krait Lite doesn't it? 🤓
Yep the stock is sweet, barely adds ½lb and yet AirMaks have shaved-off £50, despite adding both it and a Huma reg.
Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Thanks Russ
My pleasure, thanks for watching... please share. 🙏
Cheers. Russ
Finally a right to left swappable lever action this should be standard
Hi Phill, yep it's certainly standard on the Krait, Krait Lite -and many other AirMaks rifles.
Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Love love the look of this rifle! If I see more good reports I will get it. Probably going 22 myself as the wind we seem to have nowadays is to much for the little 177, but on those still day the smaller calibre is still my first choice( would be great with interchangeable barrels
It's a cracker and I'm doing more testing, starting now.
I feel .177" fights wind better than .22", as the latter's larger cross-section and slower pace combine to move it off-course more easily. 🤷🏻♂️
The testing Gary Wain did within Airgun World articles confirmed this too. 🤓
Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
@@RussDouglas222 I didn’t now that about the wind with both calibres and now that you say that i have noticed since changing to qys pellets my hw 100 hundred 177 now hates the wind, I will go back to throwing away a quarter of the tin of JSBs and more than likely now get the krait in 177👍 great informative vids! All the best with your new home
A++ on the methodology - fill up, let it settle, wait, a few stabilization shots... That'll definitely help consistency
Cheers Nate, I've learned (the hard way, i.e. on camera) in the past that it's easy to get a few velocity fluctuations straight after filling, before things settle.
Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Nice one Russ...
Cheers that man, thanks for watching, and happy shooting.
Cheers. Russ
Good review russ I like airmarks magazines better than agt but I do love my uragan never get short of air
Hi Gareth, thank-you and thanks for watching.
Good to hear you love your Uragan too.
Happy shooting - cheers. Russ
I've got the krait L lite it's the best gun I have shot beautiful little gun
Cool, yep I love mine too.
Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Think there was an error with magazine capacity in .177 it should be 18 not 22 unless its using a different magazine to the krait & katran ?
Sorry my mistake, I just double-checked and you're correct.
Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Hi can you tell me what scope your using please
Hi there, yep it's the new Arken Zulus ZHD520R HD day and night scope, complete with IR illuminator, LRF and ballistic calculator.
More info here: ruclips.net/video/1w3CmBB4hUE/видео.htmlsi=di_PxSpJcP-W17wN
Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Hi Russ I have a scope you might be interested in the pard td62 70 lrf
Nice.
👍
Cracking rifle.
Rubbish bipod though. 😁
Hahaha (sorry I hadn't nipped-up the bipod first 🙄), thanks again for your honest opinions bud; appreciated as always.
Cheers. Russ
So the big question, Krait or Krait Lite?
Ah that's down to personal choice, particularly WRT the grip/stock options.
But I love both my .177" Krait and .22" Krait Lite -which I'll now start testing in earnest... but excellent rifles and above all - very well engineered.
Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Que pulso para más malo 😣
Hi nice review as usual loverly compact quite bit kit but what happened to the arken zulus ir/thermal you and Bruce had am thinking youse must have found a few niggles with it that arken are sorting out before your review comes out good things are worth waiting for thanks Russ 👍keep them coming
Actually following all the feedback they got (mostly positive), and testing it themselves Arken decided they didn't want to launch it until they were happy with the quality.
So they went away after the British Shooting Show to upgrade the image quality of both the digital (day/night) sensor and the thermal sensor.
It's gonna be one hell of a scope once they're happy with it!
Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
@@RussDouglas222 thanks for the reply Russ soon as you and Bruce give it your review al be having one have you any ball park idea of price
I loved the way arken give all the top RUclipsrs all all give it a high rating hope the do the same with this one
@@georgeg8106 It'll only get a good review from me if it's good ...but on the strength of the ZHD520R and ZHD312R / TNC225R prototypes, it should be amazing. 🤓 Cheers. R
That’s why must air gun shooters are waiting for your review if you 2 say it’s great it’ll be hard to get one so tell me first 😂
