Beautifully demonstrated, my daughter got me into this a few years ago after I'd been ill but never kept it up. Guess who got some sashiko fabric for Father's day?
Watched this at half speed for greater clarity - very enjoyable, thank you!

I enjoyed the demonstration, however, the opening comments explaining the differences between traditional and modern were removed from the screen so quickly I wasn’t able to read them. You already know what the screen will say which is why the timing is so quick. Perhaps you could have a friend review the post before publishing. A new set of eyes may give you a different perspective.

      Hi Debbie,
Thanks for the feedback, I have added another video with much longer segments for more time to read…. Here it is…. XSam. ruclips.net/video/Cn3VInFe0Hw/видео.htmlsi=Qj4eYWkgLDmPvVMF

The timing on the new one is much better! I am going to act as an editor. In explaining the benefits and drawbacks of traditional, you put “faster stitching” as a drawback. I believe it should be under the benefits. The description of modern is shown twice. Aside from the pose two minor errors, it’s a wonderful video and I’m looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks Debbie, what type of sewing video do you usually watch most? Tutorials, inspiration or something else? x

I don’t have one specific type, it’s just whatever piques my interest. I always like learning new techniques.
