    Have you tried putting some shrimp paste on your Kare-kare? It's supposed to add an umami taste to it.

    When you say boodle fight .... it's a group of friends sharing ....using your hands ( kamayan)...no plates food is eaten on banana leaves ...

    Boodle Fight in the Philippines is originally from Phillipine Army Military. Food Eating Rules,
    And adopt by Locals in Barangay for Gathering eating Food with using hands, and the foods is in Banana Leaves.
