Wow really? I deeply appreciate the comment and I also implore you to watch more out there! I have a few more TIHYDPs in mind, but I'm waiting for one of his (DSP's) Patreon goals (to be specific, the indies one) to finish to see if I'm safe or I have to make it.
Straight off the bat i knew this was going to be a good TIHYDP, when i heard Disco A Go Go from Timesplitters Future Perfect at 1:20 ^w^ Was this filmed when he was living with his parents? why he said "coming!"
Hope you're hyped for TimeSplitters Rewind! Also, I want to say yes, since why else would he shout "coming" at random? He does speak a couple more times to someone, so I'll assume it is his parents 8 years ago.
Nice to see you taking all the feedback from the previous vid into consideration! The red/white text looks way better. Man, Phil sounds about as drunk as me back when I first started drinking, what a lightweight. I like how back then he couldn't even center the camera, lmao.
I think he'd adjust the camera if he wasn't drunk. But now it seems I know another side of Phil that I thought was a joke/meme. Thank you for enjoying if you have and I appreciate all feedback, positive or negative. It does help make me make better TIHYDPs in the future!
Ha. Unfortunately, he didn't play Beers of War 3, just the lame ass Gears versions. P.S. Joking aside, Gears 3 is probably the best game in the Gears games, and he did play that, so.. hint hint.
I agree with the decision to count downs as deaths. I believe on hardcore difficulty, you automatically die when you would have been downed. In later Gears games, your allies are a lot more resilient/invincible and they prioritize picking you up, so it's really impossible to "die" in a conventional sense. The downs counter is a good measure of how much DSP would die if the developers weren't going out of their way to protect his stupid ass.
You'd be correct on the Hardcore difficulty pretty much killing you without being downed (unless coop, I want to believe.). Was honestly hoping the down counter wouldn't make things complicated or confusing but least you got it!
You did the down counter the way I would have done it. I saw another tihydp for gears 4 and I think the guy didn't count downs as deaths, which kind of annoyed me. I haven't played gears 4 but it looked super easy compared to previous games.
I stopped playing Gears of War after 3. To me, 3 was the prime way to end a series. More game modes, couple additional weapons, the online is STILL played to this day, and among other nice bonuses. I never played Judgement but I heard that it was unnecessary to the series. Also, yes, DSP played A LOT of 3, including the multiplayer beta. Whenever I get unlazy, I should get back to making the TIHYDP of it.. Someday.
Well, I'll definitely watch that. Gears 4 looked kind of lame imo. Robot enemies (why) and new weapons that seemed like ripoffs of weapons we already got, like an SMG or a sniper rifle. Gears 3 is amazing. The perfect balance of weapons imo. Just enough so you have options but not so many that they blend together. Going back to gears 1 as I have recently, it definitely feels restrictive to have so few guns. Gears 2 was fun but I fucking hate all those vehicle and turret sections. If DSP played a lot of gears 3, I'll have to see how he did, I guess. I assume he did poorly. I've love it if he did Gears 1 on hardcore lol.
@@christianmoore5269 The ones made by CaseTech, yes? I recommend those not only because he's a friend, but they're top quality! Also his Sonic Mania TIHYDP too when you get the chance!
He is drunk. Slurring and talking WAAYYYY slower than normal. DSP does not have enough spare brain cells to function when half of them are asleep or dead.
People believe he was drunk til Part 8 of the walkthrough. I didn't even know he drank back then or at all. Also, are you insinuating that DSP has brain cells to begin with? Kidding aside, our brain cells will be saved when he's gone.
I actually downloaded all the Gears 3 stuff he's done and I own Judgement but never completed it since it felt "different". But if people enjoy this, including you, then I'm willing to make it! Just note that I need some time away for a while but I'll make another sometime.
There is some people who enjoy that sort of thing, but I can't say I've had that experience yet. But I do agree that DSP is not an enjoyable drunk, ha ha!
Not a day goes by that I question that myself.. I've been on and off about making it, but ever since irl issues been popping up, the time has been scarce. Maybe someday when life hasn't been cruel, I'll boot up the editor and see if I'm not rusty enough.
Funny story: I WAS going to make it 100 subs, but it kept going up and down. I already surpassed 75 so I figured "Hey, why not kill my brain cells some more and deliver what people want?" So TIHYDP Gears 2 was made. Hope you enjoy and thank you!
In that place with the chompy teeth when he said "Guess you can't do it in one run", I felt he meant, in one run without ever stopping, rather than one attempt. Of course if one could just run without stopping or applying timing of any sort, there would be no point in having the traps there to begin with.. Other than that, nice work, that'd explain why you were goin dark for a bit, working on this. I'm quite sorry that I cannot appreciate it as much as I should since I know literally nothing about Gears of War but I do wonder why he hates it. It seems fun enough for what it is.
He should have been more specific. Either way, his treatment of Carmine's death upset me too much anyway. Gears of War is pretty fun and you should pick it up since it should be pretty cheap now. Or you can get the Ultimate edition, which is a remaster of the 1st Gears. Either way, I appreciate your comment regardless and I also thank you for enjoying if you have, Maria!
Haha there was some heartwrenching moments indeed, they pulled my heart strings. However, sometimes I can't follow the kill count. It jumps violently at times. How is it calculated? But yes I sure enjoyed it. After all it shows nicely how far he's come since the start of his "8 year legacy", he's taken a few steps back if any..
Oh! In Gears, there is a system of being downed and death. Being downed is the half emblem, meaning he's not completely dead and can be revived. Death is the full emblem meaning.. well, he's either dead or screwed up an objective. Hopefully that clears up the confusion! For how much Phil brags about his 8 year legacy, it doesn't show any merit. Period.
Is DSP satire? Holy FUCKING shit, the first five minutes are unreal. Actually, I take it back, the entire video is unreal. The digestive teeth are the easiest platform puzzle in pretty much any game ever made and he dies to them multiple times.
Err what there is to explain over Gears? It is cumbersome railshooter with way too spongy enemies. Even Gearheads acknowledge these problems. And then of course the "storyline" is just an excuse for the dwarfs to go shoot around in new place.
MetaYoshiGaming i am so far. I come back from time to time to resume. Btw played this game in middle school and had no problems at all. Didnt die alot either. Like 4 times at least, and its mostly from my mistakes.
This probably had the best editing I've seen in a TIHYDP video. Great work man you get a sub from me

lol i watch your channel , you watch these too lmao
This was hilarious, if it wasn't for his slurred speech I'd never been able to tell the difference from his normal gameplay.
Exactly the same way, friend. Comments on Phil's videos are quite helpful when it's not spam, ha ha!
Really liked the use of Worms audio clips, was a nice touch ;3
I was hoping someone would get the Worms audio. It's literally a worm, so.. Worms.
Nice to see you taking all the feedback from the previous vid into consideration! The red/white text looks way better. Man, Phil sounds about as drunk as me back when I first started drinking, what a lightweight. I like how back then he couldn't even center the camera, lmao.

I hope you do a tihydp for gears 3. I agree it's the best one.

Absolutely wasted 😂
hahaha, the worms cuts for the rockworm are golden. nice job MetaYoshi.
Thank you, my good sir! Happy you enjoyed it!
Oh yeah he's definitely drunk in this playthrough. See: ruclips.net/video/zrKw2K1sdfc/видео.html for reference. He slurs his voice just like that.
I thought it was a meme or something.. But now I know another side of Phil I have to be aware of now. Thanks for the reference, my good sir!
Very good video I enjoyed it, keep it up.
Well thank you! You can thank the people from the 1st TIHYDP LTTP for giving me tips and advice.
This is a very old DSP
I agree with the decision to count downs as deaths. I believe on hardcore difficulty, you automatically die when you would have been downed. In due time, my friend.. or when I don't be lazy.
Phil: this game would be better if the AI wasn;t so dumb.
He then proceeds to get his ass saved by the friendly AI 3 or 4 times in a row,,,,, LMAO
Story of his life, amirite?
You right. Also good job with this im currently on TIHYDP Left 4 dead.
@@christianmoore5269 The ones made by CaseTech, yes? I recommend those not only because he's a friend, but they're top quality! Also his Sonic Mania TIHYDP too when you get the chance!
Yup, guess I might check out the sonic ones next.
0:00 dsp knew about petscop before we did

And they say yoshi went back to yoshi island that day. The call of the fruit was to strong.
can someone please make a tihydp gears of war 3 and judgement video.
I actually downloaded all the Gears 3 stuff he's done and I own Judgement but never completed it since it felt "different". But if people enjoy this, including you, then I'm willing to make it! Just note that I need some time away for a while but I'll make another sometime.
You can tell he's wasted in this playthorugh
Those first 15 minutes are hilarious he sounds blacked out
watching people play games drunk can be fun, but he's the wrong kind of drunk for that
There is some people who enjoy that sort of thing, but I can't say I've had that experience yet. But I do agree that DSP is not an enjoyable drunk, ha ha!
Lol thanks for uploading
Will we ever get tihydp gears 3?
Not a day goes by that I question that myself.. I've been on and off about making it, but ever since irl issues been popping up, the time has been scarce. Maybe someday when life hasn't been cruel, I'll boot up the editor and see if I'm not rusty enough.

FIRST!!! Hahahaha
Oh my buddha, that camcoder footage LOL.
8 years ago my friend. RUclips was different, but he was too lazy to adjust it. Oops.
The good old days.
You're way too obsessed with Carmine. Besides, Carmine in Gears Of War 3 is the best one
Err what there is to explain over Gears? It is cumbersome railshooter with way too spongy enemies. Even Gearheads acknowledge these problems.
And then of course the "storyline" is just an excuse for the dwarfs to go shoot around in new place.
Please keep your"opinion" to yourself
This is sad... good god phil...
Good ol' days. But least he played the game without stream chat or looking up a guide like he does now. Hope you enjoyed the vid!
MetaYoshiGaming i am so far. I come back from time to time to resume. Btw played this game in middle school and had no problems at all. Didnt die alot either. Like 4 times at least, and its mostly from my mistakes.
Long as ya don't blame the game for your deaths, you'll always be better than him!
MetaYoshiGaming lol i always do
