I too suffer from doing too much.. which I push as a value for the right paying jobs… I do mostly residential , and was really going overboard on the few storefronts I do haha. I am really working on my speed … also I am thinking I need to up my price . Some guys locally are literally double or close too it .. at least for like a slider( 2panes.. one moves .. one doesn’t ) , I’m $5 a side fir glass , $ sill frame wipe , $3 tracks , $2 screen .. they are $6-8 a pane .. so they are charging $24 to $28 for a slider ( Vancouver, Canada ) . I they are in a very affluent area, I’m 45-60 minutes away from them, in kind of a smaller area … there are affluent people here though … I’m going to bid on a 7000 square foot place tomorrow .. I guess their old guy retired after 25 years of servicing them haha. I really love your videos. They are a great help from a workflow perspective .
It can be really scary to raise prices, but I believe it would be justified more than ever at this point. Inflation, and cost of groceries, etc Most people are understanding that prices are going up on certain aspects of life. At the end of the day, you are running a business to make money, so going out and doing charity is probably not what you prefer ;) I have found it is usually easy to beat the prices of the bigger companies, and still make money, as with a 1 man show or 1 man and a few helpers, you're still having a much lower overhead.
Proof was in the video! Even with this fast cleaning method, the windows come out 100% better, and actually very good for the circumstances. Of course I could spend more time, but save that for a customer that really wants that treatement, or for a job that specifically calls for it, like post construction. Thanks for the comment :)
What camera are you using man? The quality is brilliant!

To your credit, they do appear clean.
