Im not happy with my unger S channel. The teeth of unger ergotech have to be tight enoigh to grip the channel and rubber but when its tight its bending the rubber in the middle where the teeth are due to the pressure. If i loosen it though the channel will fall out. I dunno what to do. How do i fix this? Ive tried taking the handle off and rescrewing back on but its still putting a bow in the middle of the rubber.😢
I'm an all Sörbo squeegee guy That's all I use on my jobs The only idea I can come up with is try pulling the squeegee rubber a little tighter as you clamp the teeth on the channel
Great video!! Im a newbie in window cleaning and is there any method to buff the steaks out? I'm still getting used to using the squeegee and after about 2 hours still had a few streaks on the side and tops.
The rubber is brand new out of the box. I bought a cheap 5 dollar squeegee from Lowe's a Pro Grip. So not sure if it's the way I'm holding the squeegee or the squeegee itself. I'm practicing on my own windows before I go doing anyone else's lol
As a newbie at this time I recommend that you wipe the corner of the squeegee rubber after each swipe that will help with the streak lines but practice what is called in the window cleaning industry "Fethering" Fethering is grabbing the water from the side of frames with the squeegee start to squeegee like an inch away from the frame then repeat that step a few times until you see less water on the glass then squeegee across this minimizes the detail work Like I demonstrated in my video Keep practicing you'll eventually get it down pat Hope this helps

My very first squeegee that I started my business with was a 12 inch Ettore brass squeegee as I started making a few more bucks I bought a Sorbo squeegee and really loved it! Hasn't failed me for 23 years

How do you like the Sorbo California Dream pole? My tips seem to break often.
I like the pole. Sorbo made a new nylon tip it's made stronger find out from your window cleaner supplier to see if they have it.

How come you ride the channel high on the dry glass?
It was more a video showing how to do straight pulls without leaving a streak across the glass
Why does my squeegee always leave lines. Is it normal because sometimes the lines go away after.

Either the rubber is imperfect or dirt is trapped as you squeegy or ‘wet line’ from rubber end because you don’t wipe it between passes.
