I like the way you made the cute bear sweater. And I'm so glad you made a version of the doll with a more typical head. I've been wondering what these dolls would like without that center circle. She turned out very cute!
Thanks, Robyn 🥰 I'm glad I tried a 'regular' head on the bullseye doll. It's a bit of extra work, but I do like it more, and will probably make more of the dolls now.
“No crochet for a week” - Girl, I just broke into a sweat 😩 Oh gosh, look at her little vest 💝 She is beyond gorgeous 🥹💕 Cassandra, the care, details and your precision when it comes to placement and sewing…always leaves me in awe ✨🙌 You’re the best! I just adore her expression, too 🥰 The placement of the eyebrows is always such a big decision isn’t it? Such a fine line between ‘cute surprised’ and ‘psychopathic angry face’ right? 😂 Congratulations on your Ruby 💕👏 What a cutie 🥰 That hair is everything ❤ She has totally been ‘Cassandrafied’ ☺ and looks all the better for it 😉 Those ‘girls of the world’ are just beautiful, but I hear you, you’ve gotta be in the right headspace to tackle those changes 😅 So excited for the MixandMatch challenge! Cannot wait to see the entries 🥳 Have a wonderful trip, lovely ✈✨! Xx
I'm always excited to see you in the comments 🥰 I had a bit of a panic attack thinking about a week with no yarn, so I packed a small bag with some mini skeins and a hook 😅 No stuffing, though, so amis are out, but at least I can make a coaster or something if I have the time 🤣🤣
Such a cute bear and Ruby is cute. Yikes, I haven't even started my CAL kitty..still browsing patterns. Hope your work trip goes well. I'd have to bring some little thing to work on, but then it is a different city and country, so exploring would be first choice. Maybe you can find a yarn store!!
I also haven't started on the mushroom cat yet 🍄😻 For my Lisbon trip, I did end up packing some yarn and a hook 😅 No stuffing, so no amigurumi, but let's see what I can come up with 💕
Oh ! Wonderful change on the flat head dolls! Thank you! And of course the book does have beautiful designs. So I am encouraged to try a replacement! I have loads of books too and many doll heads to choose from, so I should be able to work out a substitute head! Thanks!
Oh Cassandra I would love to have more tutorials. 🤗💕 have a lovely trip so sorry you can't get crafty for a whole week. It takes me awhile to decide on what to make next sometimes too I find it such an odd feeling. I am, so glad you gave that round head a try on the new ami book. It is beneficial to see how that would work up. I will miss you my friend.
Hello, my friend! I wish I had loads more time for tutorials, but I'm aiming to get a few more out this year. Although I did bring a few small skeins of yarn with me, I haven't had time to crochet 😭 I will have to spend this time deciding what I want to make when I get back home 🥰
Hi Cassandra! Your lady Bear is so lovely in her sweater vest! You did a great job changing up the Grapefruit doll's head. She looks perfect. I'm working on my mushroom hat cat. Trying to figure how to do the hat, with the ears in the way, but I'll get there. Have a great week. 😀
Thanks, Mary Rose 🌸 I really liked how the grapefruit doll turned out. I'm still trying to decide on a pattern for the mushroom cat, so I hope to get started on that soon 🍄😻
Your bear and mischievous grapefruit girl are lovely. You did a good job adapting the head but it is more work and not as relaxing as just following a pattern. I’m working on the mushroom cat - the hat is challenging. I hope you enjoy Lisbon. 🧸🇵🇹❤
Thanks, Andrea 🌸 I might try and adapt 1 or 2 more of those doll heads, but I need to be in the right mood for it. For now, I want to make something straight from a pattern, no thinking required 😅 Lisbon was good, but always much nicer to be back home 💕
Hi Cassandra, I wish you safe travels and I have my fingers crossed you can make it without crochet! ❤ Your little bear is super cute and I'm intrigued by your idea for using the vest. It turned out so cute! I loved seeing you recreate the doll head for that pattern. It's neat to see how it would look with a regular head and I do think she turned out so super cute! It does completely change the whole aesthetic of the doll though I guess since that one reminds me of a rag doll for some reason. I may eventually have to get that book just so I can see for myself. It would be hard to recreate them all for sure and I know I wouldn't want to do it 😂 Such a fun video 🤗
Hello Julie 🌸 I'm excited to show the actual pattern I'm using the sweater vest for, as I'm very excited about it 😉😁 I would actually love to see you make one of those flat head dolls. I always enjoy your feedback and comments on books and patterns. And you'll see from my next video that you are one of my main ami book enablers 🤣🤣
Check out the pattern Gracie Doll from A Crafty Concept. She is a rag doll style and the head may work for the “bullseye” dolls😅 I have an issue with that swirl as well and thought about trying to mix those 2 patterns. She has a free and paid version of the pattern. Love your adaptation.
I agree. That bullseye is annoying. My eye goes right to it. Such a shame when the dolls are all so cute. Your improvised head looks so cute, but having to redo all the hair, etc. is too much.

Looking forward to all the embroidered eyes you share! They are really wonderful! Thank you thank you!
I will definitely make some time for more tutorials throughout the year 😊
Adorable bear and your adaptation for the grapefruit doll is perfect! Hope you have a wonderful trip to Lisbon and get to eat lots of delicious food!
Thank you 🌸 And so far, all the food in Lisbon has been amazing!
Your bear and her lil sweater is so cute and the mod to the grapefruit girl came out awesome!!
Thanks, Nova 🥰
I hope your trip to Lisbon is memorable for ONLY good reasons! Don't work too hard! 💓That bear with a high collared vest is the sweetest!
Hello, dear Mary 🌸 Lisbon is great (still too much work and not enough fun 😅)
At first I thought Ruby was a football player.
Bring yarn with you to crochet at night.
😅😅😅 you saw the helmut as well 😜
Hi Cassandra 🤗 all your makes are adorable! Looking forward to new eye tutorials! Safe travels…have fun exploring! 🥰🧶🤩
Thank you, Litsa 🥰

@@craftablyeverafter Phew 😮💨 Now I don’t have to worry about you as much 😂💕 Have a great time xx
@@leemac I would still worry, as I might not even get the time to touch my precious yarns 😭😭 At least the weather is much better than in Copenahgen 🌞
I like the way your doll turned out.
Thank you 🤗

Thank you 💕 Although not quite perfect, I much prefer the round head to the flat head 😍
Hello Cassandra !
Your little bear is super cute , and your little doll turned out amazing.
I hope you have a safe journey and a great work trip.
Thanks, Jacqueline 🥰

They look great. I think I would have done that with the head, too. Safe travels to Lisbon. 😊❤
Thank you 🌸 Made it safely to Lisbon, but I already miss being home...
@@craftablyeverafter I'd be the same. It'll pass quickly, like time does!
Adorable, Cassandra! A week without crochet will just make it all the more fun when you get back, 😉. Have a safe trip! See you soon!
I did end up packing a few small skeins and a hook...but it still means no amigurumi for a week, as I couldn't fit in stuffing 😅

I made Ruby as well, I showed her in my last video. Mine has a very noticeable bullseye.
I watched the video where you showed Ruby 😁 Those bullseye heads 🙈😅😅🎯

I've seen that doll from 'a crafty concept', and will have to look up the pattern to see how she does it 😊 Always good to have various options.
perfect 😅
I think the bullseye head is annoying as well my eyes go right to it. But you made an adorable grapefruit girl!
Thanks, Abbie 🌸 I just cannot seem to look past the bullseye heads...🎯🙈
You deserve a break, but I dunno if you'll make it a week. haha
Be safe on your trip and have a great week.
I ended up packing some yarn and a hook (I would never have made it otherwise 😅😅) but no stuffing...so let's see what I can come up with 🥰
For me, your Ruby is so much cuter without that target on her face.
Thank you 🤗
I agree. That bullseye is annoying. My eye goes right to it. Such a shame when the dolls are all so cute. Your improvised head looks so cute, but having to redo all the hair, etc. is too much.
Not sure I have the energy to remake every head, but at least I know it's possible 🥰
