Alan Ritchson really was a highlight of this show. His character will honestly be missed! He kept the Titans grounded! Was in stitches when he said "then... KABOOOM! Just making sure you're still kicking back there kid" 😂
I love what they're doing with Bruce Wayne because we get to see the human side of him and not Batman. He's lost Alfred, Jim Gordon, Barbara in a wheel chair and Jason as red hood killing people and he thinks it's his fault so makes sense he's broken. I get people don't like seeing a broken Batman, but I just love it so much...we've never seen that before. It'd be more unrealistic if he didn't broke after everything that happened.
@@Soshiworld0805 It's just one more brick to explain how messed up Bruce is right now. The guy has never been deep in the sane pool and now thinks he got his "son" killed. Being over the edge is to be expected.
This was an interesting episode for sure. I’m a little upset that Hawk won’t be coming back since he was my favorite character but I’m glad that Donna and Tim can be on the show still.
My theory is Tim and Donna were on the train still as someone was still trying to bring them back. Tim by medical workers, Donna by Raven and the amazons. Hank blew up so no one was trying. Donna was wearing the clothes she wore in the afterlife. So was Bruce's castle where her end of the bridge.
I loved this entire episode. I agree, the send off for Hank was beautiful. My only thing is they better explain in the next episode how the hell Donna knew Bruce needed saving. I can't wait until Tim and Donna see each other again actually alive this time. When she tells the team how Hank is doing, that's going to be pretty emotional.
Back when the Wonder Woman TV show was in development I always wondered what Themyscira would look like in a TV budget. The 70s version was cool, but now that the Patty Jenkins one exists I was worried it wouldn't be as good. I like this version a lot. Wish there was more in I but I'll take it. As for the soul searching concept, I live how they did purgatory. I enjoy the ideal of Hank and Donny leading souls back from the brink. Donna returning from the dead is such a big part of her character in the comics, so I like that they are going for that in her character arc. I can't wait to see what happens next. Holding off on bringing Rachel back to the main team was a good idea. It gave the rest of the characters time to breath and have some screen time. Are you guys going to review the new episodes of Doom Patrol?
This is one of my favorite episode. I wish they did more episodes of this caliber. Also, loved that they address the fans annoyance with the show, about how Donna died; and the fact the Titans rarely fight together. I'm going to miss Hank alot but I'm glad he got to reunite with his brother. I'm also glad that Alan Ritchson is going to star in his own series, Jack Reacher. Especially, since they got rid of his character with little to no warning to the actor.
I don't believe Don was there at the end; I believe Hank manifested him (like with the weapons) so he wouldn't be alone. Whether or not he even knows he did. Which is sad.
The one thing I think it's odd with Bruce is because since he's a side character here, we don't _feel_ the character enough to know the pain he's had to face because we were mostly told about it. We know since S1 that he's been through a lot and Dick even foresaw him finally snapping and killing, so the writing has been on the wall for some time.
@@Prometheus-SuperBat i suppose, hasn't stopped it being possible in the comics though, i kind of like his self contained story though and i think it ended pretty well, story wise.
38:00-38:07 That's exactly why they'll never allow a Batman show. Batman has been WB's golden goose for years and they don't want people getting so invested with a TV version of Batman that any movie version afterwards is met with disinterest.
I wouldn't say they're getting Batman wrong. It's just a different iteration given that Bruce is a broken man at the end of his years as Batman so to speak. He also broke a rule in his code which is a big deal. He's dealt with situations where he's wondered whether he should kill himself and dealt with his own depression in comics before. So this isn't so far fetched.
that was a silly episode tbh. I'm not against coming back from death, but the way they did is so bad. They made it seem like anyone dies could get back to life just by going through a "bridge" back to earth. That's so lame. Not to mention it was so easy that they just had to imagine weapons to spawn them lol.
- Donna : " Omg Dawn..she must be devastated "
- Hank : " She better be ! "
gosh I needed that

He isn't even aware Jason is alive. He still believe he's responsible for his death.

He had plenty of warning. He knew ahead of time and they parted on good terms.
To be fair they told him before they started writing season 3 and even asked him if he'd be happy to come back and he said yes.

There seems to be a theme going on with Titans, Doom Patrol(wait till you see that one(E3)!) and (to a lesser extent) with Stargirl this season...

If Donna was OP she wouldn't have died of electrocution
I think that has something to do with hawk and dove having powers from the Llords of Chaos.
