When RED was released, I was just a high school freshman, jamming to her songs while doing homework. Never did I know that a decade later, I would relate much more with the lyrics after learning how to mend a broken heart a couple of times. Time sure flies, but Taylor's songs become more meaningful to me as time goes on. I'm proud that I grew up listening to her music

I think it’s kinda a sequel to All Too Well. ATW was the fully story, their relationship from beginning to end and why it broke down and how it damaged it. But I almost do chronicles the aftermath after some time has passed, and is more simplistic in the sense that it’s narrowly focused on not calling your ex. I think they complete each other

(2012) i was just that wierd-happy high schooler jamming her songs before not consciously knowing what this song(or album) meant but just jamming to it and only knowing it as songs abt an ex or for her exes. later on in life (2021), little did i know that i will still jam but not with happiness but rather heavily weeping, aching, and relating every single damn of its lyrics, phrases, and tune. it’s weird how time can change things so fast that it only takes a single experience for us to have a clue on things and wake up on reality that it is my time (or your time) to feel shattered since we are in this stage of adulthood. way back i was naive and oblivious on this journey (w/life & love) but now… i know things, i felt it, and i hated it. im 21 and a lot has happened and changed. i can relate to every pieces being written in this song & album. its crazy how we go thru in life and experienced love(& life at the same time) that sooner can drastically lead u to a different road that one can never know the destination they are heading into whether it be a happy ending or a sad beautiful tragic.❤️🩹
