I listened to at least 90% of Taylor's songs when they first came out and really got to know them well over the years but this one is one of the ones that I never really gave a fair chance. It's not as catchy and I wasn't ready maybe at the time for the gentle beauty of its tone and sound. I love it so much now though and it's so sweet to hear.

This version of begin again is so different. I don't know how to word it but like it feels like I can finally freely breath. Old version made me feel peace and calm but this.... THIS MAKES ME LIGHT LIKE ALL MY BURDEN JUST EFFING WASHED AWAY. The fact this is making tear up more than All Too Well. Begin Again is such an underrated masterpiece. GIVE HER THE LOVE SHE DESERVES.

EXACTLY! Yes! The track list is perfectly explaining the 2 lovers story. From beginning to end, it tells their story. Then at the end, she sings Begin Again saying she's trying to find a new love who will treat her better. At the end she says, "I watched it begin again..." and then my CD loops back to State of Grace. I LOVE IT! ♥
I listened to at least 90% of Taylor's songs when they first came out and really got to know them well over the years but this one is one of the ones that I never really gave a fair chance. It's not as catchy and I wasn't ready maybe at the time for the gentle beauty of its tone and sound. I love it so much now though and it's so sweet to hear.
