This video was so helpful! I’m just starting out for blogging and have been making lists of comparing the two! This video just puts it so straight forward and in a nutshell! Thank you David! 😊
Watched a few of your vids. Like them as I'm starting my blogger journey so they are quite helpful to me. Also just used your link to get my new namecheap custom domain:) Keep your good work
See was that so hard? Your welcome for providing an inspirational comment to spark a video that should exist, but didn't. In your first video that I commented on, you determined self hosted wordpress was better......which is obvious. But when putting the two free versions against each other, blogger comes out on top. This was my conclusion as well, but I was concerned I was missing something. Turns out I wasn't. The permalink issue is a pretty big problem for both. But it makes sense for wordpress because they force you into a higher priced plan to get that functionality. Blogger, one would think would have incentive to offer it, if only to beat out wordpress. But alas, google doesn't care about blogger. google has ADD. it will randomly stop supporting things and then just kill them out of nowhere. i.e. reader, G+, etc. thanks for taking the time to answer.
Can free plan of wordpress do SEO? For now I'm using blogger for video game is just a small website that help new players for that game But blogger have many problems for me like custom font(for my language) responsive etc. I afraid that If I use wordpress with free plan, People won't see my website BTW There are a few website that write about that game in my country
The free version of WordPress is a sub-domain and won't be effective for SEO. Blogger is Ok, but it's not as good as WordPress on a shared host which is why I say blogger is perfect for casual use.
Blogger vs WordPress dot com. What do you think?
Thanks for watching, like and subscribe :)

Glad you found it helpful.
I wasn't expecting that conclusion at all. But then I didn't know about the ability to create a custom domain at blogger like that.

So you can't do SEO on WordPress, which means your website will not be seen by people?
