You are not starving your baby and nature is not allowing you to! the first weeks their belly is about the size of a small marble so the colostrum is enough for a normal healthy baby until the rest of your milk sets in. You got this and you are doing all good ❤️

My baby I’ll have her on the breast for an hour half each breast and she’ll still cry so I’ll give 4oz milk and she’ll finish it. She’s 11weeks now I’ve given up with breast 😢
For the spit up, try giving him half of his feeding, burp him, give him the other half and then burp him again. Or you can try Enfamil Gentlease in the purple can

Yes! Good idea. Now that I think of it, I had to give my daughter the sensitive formula because she absolutely couldn’t tolerate regular. Also, be careful what you eat because if youre eating foods that tend to cause gas, they will for him as well, which could also be the cause of him spitting up. But you and daddy are doing a great job!! You’re so calm and serene. Your kid will be too ❤

If he keeps blowing out of diapers try sizing up, that helped me tremendously. Also be sure to point his genitals downward when changing him so he doesn’t pee out of the diaper (learned that from my aunt & her newborn).

For the spit up it could be something you are eating. Try to eliminate one thing at a time from your diet to see if something is not agreeing with him.

Congrats & welcome to the #MamaClub! Love that you are able to give yourself grace! I do have a tip, maybe you are already doing this, but it worked when my son was a baby & the pee fountain was at an all-time high! But i put a new diaper under the old one before switching & I would open the dirty diaper for like .002 seconds ha then cover it back up & wait 30-1minute because the cold air would make him pee! & I went from changing 5 times as well to like 1 outfit change most 2 a day!!
Anyways, I hope this makes sense! & I promise you will start to know when he’s ready to pee to hurry & cover as he gets a bit older!

What I used to do when changing my son’s diaper is i would put a clean wipe on him so if he does pee, it would go into the wipe
i just started doing this and it helps!
Such an adorable cry. Lol at like a fountain and there’s pee in the air. It’s so nice to have help. Moms need that! So sweet you showed your stomach and the pep talk that you gave women. So transparent and beautiful. I call it Paci. Binky sounds weird. Baby is so cute and tiny. Re spit up: he may be taking in too much air when he’s feeding. I recommend stopping in the middle of feedings to burp, even if he’s agitated. Also possibly changing his bottle. Those bottles you have with the blue thing inside never worked for me.

The trick I tried to prevent my baby boy from peeing all over me is as soon as I had the diaper on done I would slide my hand in there and I would hold his little wee wee down so that way if he did pee he would pee in the diaper and not on me or all over the place so that definitely worked for me
Sometimes the spitting up can be caused by the formula..
Congratulations on your baby boy!! But you are right ones you have a kid you don’t sleep.. unfortunately lol.

For the random peepee I heard open the diaper 1st before taking it off all the way because it's the air that makes them go. Cover it, let him wee and then fully change him. I have a girl. My sister has 3 boys. 😉 Your body looks like a woman who just gave birth. The people who worry about bouncing back are worried about the wrong thing. Your body WILL return. 😍 It takes time.

Sit him up hold his neck straight and tap his back
When you're burping you baby, always hold up baby on you shoulder and rub the back
There's more than one way to burp a baby. If you sit them on your lap upright, they will burp on their own
This works, but is becoming an outdated burping technique. Theres tons of ways to burp baby.
