If that poor guitar could talk, I'm sure it would say, “Thank you, good man, for saving me from that horrible person, with obvious mental problems, who tortured me so much. Thank you”...😁 Excellent restoration job.
I actually find 99% of stains & grains awful and boring, too. I much prefer solid colours on electrics. Neck - natural, plate of black plastic, nickel or black hardware, for me... Oh, and the neck pickup needed to be a lace Blue with the horrible "wedge" space filled-in.
the work was done well but the color of the nek downgrades it. A question of taste perhaps because different from the oriental ones, but I was disappointed, as if the painting had not been completed
The funny thing is, if this belonged to a punk rocker who became famous. The company would issue a custom shop relic model and charge thousands. But in fact it was just the guys first cheap guitar that he did this to.
Hello Friend.
Mask and surgical gloves.. good ventilation. We could make a coffee table book of guitars, once owned by folks that never actually knew that a minor chord existed, yet had artistic ideas about guitar design. Beautiful recovery.
as much as it's sometimes a bummer that these guitars get trashed up, i respect the length some of these people are willing to go to customize their guitars. and moreso the length studio asyl is willing to go to refurbish them!
I like this rescue very much. The purpleheart pickguard, dyed neck, and gold HW was particilarly dynamic. My only change preference would be to use a brass nut instead of the bone / tusq / plastic nut, to not pull the off-white look that far away from the body. It's more visual rather than for tone.
i wasn't a fan of the color scheme you chose at first but as you played it grew on me! beautiful work. what songs were you playing at the end? they sound familiar but i am no good at placing the names of screamo songs
i love your videos and your restorations are superb-and your playing too!👍 i do want you to show us the guitars the other way round-you always show them from the players pov😄
What I love about your videos is that it's always a trade with good and bad side: Your guitar will come back from the dead, it's just getting a ugly a$$ color. Will you accept?
Great restoration here, especially with all those holes and nails... I don't like the neck being in this color though, but everything else looks great to me! And I really like what's played starting at 34:19.
Hi, wow day and night change, tidy, great colour combination, that small Sg-ish pick-guard looks so classy, interesting electronics. I was not a gold hardware fan, until some years ago, that I saw the: Fender Made in Japan Traditional '60s Midnight Telecaster - Black, and fell in love with that combination, I just wonder, if the holes were to remove weight, and how much it changed with the filling. Cheers.
Some individuals shouldn’t own instruments. Great job and the purple heart combo is awesome. The only tiff for me is the control cover which boot a tight fit. Great work though!
Excellent workmanship! I hope that poor tree survives after being sprayed with a million colors (maybe change the angle of your spraying rig 🤷♂️). Otherwise, well done sir!

IDK, plywood isn't that bright.

Good to see the guitar back in business again. Thank You.
Nice save. Wilkinson bridge. Oiled neck instead of sticky gloss. Hopefully someone really enjoys that little MIJ Fernandes.
The funny thing is, if this belonged to a punk rocker who became famous. The company would issue a custom shop relic model and charge thousands. But in fact it was just the guys first cheap guitar that he did this to.
Wicked! You gave that poor guitar a new life!
For the mess you started with, you made it beautiful!
Wow, this is a really creative design. Love the color palette!
Hi Friend, excellent renovation, as usual. Thank you for sharing your amazing skills !

You should start and finish with the guitar in a stand like a display at a music store. Your work is awesome!
That's one HELL of a lot of work to restore "an unspecified guitar!" 😲
I know. Lol😂
Mask and surgical gloves.. good ventilation.
We could make a coffee table book of guitars, once owned by folks that never actually knew that a minor chord existed, yet had artistic ideas about guitar design. Beautiful recovery.
Where do you find all these hedious guitars ?.....good job on bringing them all back!
Gold hardware on that neck looks great, and it sounds wonderful.
That’s a beautiful conversion!!! I had to trust the process while watching this one ☝️
That was an interesting result. I don't like the red but nice job.
i dont like the pink or the gold
this is one of the best repairs you've done, love it!
Nice restoration, specially the color contrast is awesome.

goofy guitar stays goofy. i love it! Looks great before AND after haha
Very good music played at the end.
One of the reasons to watch this is the occasional totally unknown cool guitar riffs you'll get at the end. Like the 🍒 on top!
This is your best work yet. And I love the color choices you've made. Pure artistry!
"we have birdseye maple at home"
🤣
I love your restorations of these guitars. Nice work!
Interesting choice matching the neck with the purpleheart pickguard. I like it!
love that pick guard! and always great playing, man!
One of the best job in this channel!
Ahhh was hoping the sides would just be clear! Nice work!
A lovely restoration. What do you do with these guitars after you restore them, do you keep them or do you sell them?
The ending is perfect! Shoegaze + punk + black metal? Love your vid. 😊
Imagine seeing your dad's guitar that was lost and that you've been trying to find for a decade on this channel.
Sick job on this Guitar. It looks like you made the neck at a purple Heartwood. It’s incredible.
Hi Sir, what a nice reenovation. Th👍umbs up
love your work you do such a good job I just don't get why people treat guitars in such a bad way in the first place

Probably your best work yet. I like the fact you got new parts in this one. Also did you play some Mogwai there? The song Punk Rock.
I'm going to nominate this guitar as being the one that needed this the most!
What an amazing job in this guitar!!!!! Congrats!!!!
interesting weight relief and as usual nice restoring job
Nice job. It turned out nice.
Love the purpleheart pickguard!
Takuya did abused this guitar, but it has created so much great musics and memories with Judy and Mary. It is a glorious guitar 😊
Looks great! I would look into a tele neck metal mounting ring/plate.
i wasn't a fan of the color scheme you chose at first but as you played it grew on me! beautiful work. what songs were you playing at the end? they sound familiar but i am no good at placing the names of screamo songs

All gold hardware except for the mini toggle?
Damn nice outcome! Very well done
Great job! Love watching your work, it's addictive.
Wow, incredible. Great work.
Fantastic job and great playing for this cheese guitar, really nice!
Sharp sheet metal on the body? Were they making a 'Tetanus-caster'?
What I love about your videos is that it's always a trade with good and bad side:
Your guitar will come back from the dead, it's just getting a ugly a$$ color. Will you accept?
Beautiful transformation!🎸 Next episode....replacing the grill cloth on a Mesa 412 cab😂
Beautiful restoration.
Great restoration here, especially with all those holes and nails... I don't like the neck being in this color though, but everything else looks great to me!
And I really like what's played starting at 34:19.
All I can say is someone murderd that guitar and you brought it back to life. Excellent work my friend!
That's an awesome work!
please play something with the chorus on that roland amp,i had one and miss the chorus so much
I am HIGHLY impressed by your ability to match your home mix dye to the purpleheart!
In this case I think the art put in this guitar by the owner must to be preserved. Good job.
This guitar was very difficult to restore, you did It in an excellent way, bravo!👏🏼
Hi, wow day and night change, tidy, great colour combination, that small Sg-ish pick-guard looks so classy, interesting electronics. You did all that sanding of the finger board why didn't you put tape down before dressing the frets? like I have seen you do many times before.
Another excellent restoration , well done ! ( I thought the weight relief project previously was interesting.)
Pink and gold - not my personal choice in colour scheme, but way better than the atrocity it began with. Pity about the chrome switch.
Came out nice (you almost lost me when you opened the purple dye). What happens to these guitars once you finish them?
WONDERFUL WORK!
Beautiful restoration. The stained neck looks so cool against the white body. Love your channel. 😊
I think this red decorative panel must cover the black hole. We must see only the gold adapter'
Some individuals shouldn’t own instruments. Great job and the purple heart combo is awesome. The only tiff for me is the control cover which boot a tight fit. Great work though!
That neck looked beautiful just before the menstrual dip.
From all your videos this is the one that I like so much👍🏻😊
I love it! A old busted out gituar Get new live. This type of Instruments have more Charakter as a „good/ bought“ one … just awsome work man ❤
Could you have done gold colored frets? That would look better.
Beautiful resto mate. Hopefully the next owner won't trash it🤷♂🤦♂🙌
What an amazing redesign of a guitar!
That's gorgeous! Great job!!!!!!
Excellent workmanship! I hope that poor tree survives after being sprayed with a million colors (maybe change the angle of your spraying rig 🤷♂️). Otherwise, well done sir!
Very nice restoration, another job well done... 😊 👍🏻
One of my favourite vids so far. Great job!
Amazing restoration as usual!!
Looks amazing now! Great job!❤
Nice restoration 👍🏻
nice orchid covers at the end !!
You did such a great job restoring the body, but I didn’t like the red neck. Keep the vids coming!
If you had left the neck undyed, it would have looked better, in my opinion.
Beside that, nice job 👍🏻
