This is great! I’m not done watching but there so many good things in this, especially as a first time mother. I’ve felt that I’m responsible for everything lately with my child but Dr. Amen has really talked to me about my child’s independency. Thank you 🙏🏼

Great podcast, great platform. I do have a question regarding public speaking for Christ (generally speaking) How does one justify making a career booking speaking gigs to sell seats sharing the good news and calling it a ministry? If it is a ministry does that mean the mission is for sale? Should our good news be freely provided? It more often seems like the cost per seat isn’t trying to cover the expenses of getting there. It just doesn’t seem like taking up the cross.

Plus, Jesus, drunk wine, so therefore it’s okay with me.
For some people, it is most definitely not okay to drink wine or alcohol, but for others, it is okay.
In the Scriptures, it says that we must be really careful around weaker, brothers or sisters, I’m not sure of the scripture reference on this one, but we must be careful that we don’t need others astray or cause them to sin.
I personally think that a glass of red wine or two now and again is okay, especially with a meal or if you are with other people.
And I take wine, not fruit juice for communion.
I do not judge others who think differently from myself, nor would I contradict them or argue my case with them.
But this is just my personal opinion, based on scripture, and Jesus is examples.

I am sorry or not but I must say, that I think the majority of youths troubled these days are related to over-parenting.
Parents are likely to think that they are the maximum their children can ever reach, value-wise.
They don`t even credit their children`s abilities to a level where they might go much further. That of course doesn`t apply to everybody, but some parents are suppressing their children because of whatever reason.
Some, because they are jealous or simply sadistic, some because they want to be looked up to - narcissistic, and some because they accepted the domestication that was imposed over them, by their parents or relatives and or their social status for generations.
I don`t know, but because our world is changing usually for the better, and because we have the "Rule of law" people, and children especially should be aware of the concept, that it is okay to become more than their parents reached, but not to look down on them or anything, just acknowledge that the world is changing - with, or without them it is changing.
Also, "Dark Psychology" is a very good topic to help you reposition yourself in the real world, not everybody is as nice as you or your parents or friends are. There are people, who intentionally harm people in a very rude way, in a way you can`t possibly imagine.

Dr. Daniel Amen. Cool name! I will watch some of this. Better Brains?? = HOPE! 😅😂 I guess some things are very simple. Like how we probably now unanimously acknowledge more truth about the human brain than we do about human morality (or human sexuality, in early 2024).
...about the funny, catchy title: You mean, there's hope after the demise of the college systems and gatekeepers? Pardon my rambling sardonic outburst that is about to occur. Maybe the tone of this comment won't be completely encouraging or match Sadie's tone or my usual. This message will attempt to reverse itself from self-deconstructing. Ok, sorry if I sound a bit insane in this comment (but I don't believe in that term, to begin with). I'm sure not all is lost. It's not too late for us after college failed us across most subject domains. But the show must go on - because reality (and the hope we have) really is out there in Jesus. There's hope in the resurrection, even if we don't have as much brains as we want to face our Dragons. Or maybe we do have enough - when Jesus is shepherd.
We need to face a Dragon (Darwin?) but the title of this episode was so fun, it simply 'made' me click on this video because it sounds so simple, fun & hopeful...so sunny-side-up and healthy-brain. 'I couldn't resist.' What will they say about health, intelligence, wisdom, lifestyle?
My mind has been speculating about some very dark things in the past 16-years-or-so that are very distant from those (or the dark opposite), and I need a hopeful message. Maybe there's hope on the other side of my negativity - like maybe I can have better brains! - I'm sure my suspicions about the dark world has affected my brain and thought-habits in the past few years. But my worst suspicions have only been confirmed over time. So what hope is there in the age of CBDCs + AGI + remote-control redistributions (augmented reality tagging and valuation and instructions) + Hyperinflation + artificial social CREDIT + selective tiered access/use of all things in a matrix? Well, maybe I'll put a lid on my pessimistic futurism (on route to my optimistic futurism), and watch a few minutes of this episode. May be good for some encouragement on the other side of learning about those who value dramatic, coercive population reductions.
Q: *How dark or low can we go and still maintain hope for our future? Well, why don't we meme about it & find out?* :)
(Christians are collectively at their low point, and almost at the point of what I would call a realistic faith. I'm post-mil adjacent, btw - I've been a solid Postmil Historicist Individualist for about 15 years. I believe that Jesus will accomplish victory thru to beyond Rev 20 via His Holy Spirit, which is His Person in His Son Jesus Christ, only-begotten (I'm something of a Oneness non-trinitarian, too).
A: *Well, how much hope can be housed within a single cell amoeba?* *Maybe if we link a bunch of them together we can save the Grinch who stole christmas...* :) Until the amoeba's learn how to protest by making the words appear on your screen "We Have Brains, Too!" (Just kidding, how is an amoeba to develop a brain?) Well, some scientists have already done that with human-cloned cerebral organoids - linking them on a computer chip and "carrot / switch" them into learning to play actual video games on the chip level. That's how we can learn to have better brains after the college systems went down the drain. Theoretically. Hypothetically. We're only brainstorming, here.
I think modern science needs to get back to aiding the holistic human christian household, what do you think?

Sadie needs to get an education and a real job. Zero lifetime experience except having two babies and a husband- does he work. You absolutely should not be providing advice, teaching anyone except possibly preschoolers. This could account for your anxiety which you keep alluding too. Come back in 3-4 decades and you'll see clearer hopefully.

I was really concerned about this interview, not from your point of you, Sadie, but did you notice that his bottom line is: power?
It’s important to this man to have power over people.
Do you know that the essence of witchcraft is to have power over people?
Derek prints teaches that to control, dominate, or manipulate a person, is to exercise a spirit of witchcraft over them.
I presume he is not a Christian?
He comes across as being very coldhearted.
I wasn’t going to make a comment, as it would appear to him, that I am: oppositional. LOL,
But I thought it was important to say something.
My spirit is deeply distressed, and I couldn’t wait till the end of this interview.
Sorry, Sadie, but I really did need to say something, because I don’t want you to be led astray by the enemy.
A father, is not a mother, and I wonder if he coaches his wife? Instead of being a husband to her.
Children are not robots, and mustn’t be treated like adults.
I think I have some understanding of children and their needs, as I have four of my own.
The most important thing, for a child, is to be loved, and to receive words of affirmation, and touch, and obviously, as much time as you can give them, as a mother.
Our fathers role is very different from the role of a mother, because his love will come across differently as he is the one who should be disciplining the children, when he is there.
He didn’t mention God once! So why would you take advice from somebody who has a completely different and worldly perspective?
Plus, women are not logical, but men are. 🙂
