I forgot he was a host of "Solid Gold", and a teen idol, but I do remember his role in "The Pirates of Penzance". But in my childhood, he'll always be "Street Hawk".
It is SO much fun to relive this...I will always have it as a souvenir and be able to say "I was there!" What a THRILL!!! Beautiful, funny, poignant, super-entertaining show. Thank you, Rex, for your fantastic talent!!
