Child Australia Bagot Program's commitment to fostering wellbeing

Child Australia operates the support programs onsite at Bagot Community. The programs aim to support and encourage children to engage successfully in their learning and achieve consistent school attendance.
🙋‍♂️ The family's school attendance program works to support families to engage with their child's schooling and to develop a trusting relationship with the school.
👣 The walking bus program collects children from within the community each morning to ensure they are prepared and ready for a successful day. Child Australia works in partnership with families and Ludmilla Primary School.
Marita Mummery, Bagot program manager mentions that the teachers and staff at the school know all the team from the program, Walking Bus and OSHC well. This provides the opportunity to personally touch base with each other to discuss the children’s needs. Through a positive working relationship we are able to come to new ideas on how best to support the children. 🙌
