I just learned about his passing and was shocked, I have no idea how this news slipped past me. I immediately came to rewatch his appearances with Craig. Larry taking over as Geoff was some of hardest I've ever laughed watching a late night show, and TV in general; that's saying a lot. Their chemistry was one of the special ones. Rest in peace, you lizardy legend.
The first time I watched this I thought how sad it was going to be when Larry finally left us. Today was that day and here I am, sad, but appreciating a legendary life of a legendary broadcaster
I don't know how many times I watched this. Truth is, I'm not from USA and I never got the chance to see Craig or Larry on TV, yet I found these interviews relaxing and joyful, and I'm very glad I could listen and watch their interactions. It is sad to know he's gone and they'll never have a chance to talk like this anymore... but he lived his life to his full potential, and I believe this will soothe the soul of those he left behind.

Larry King calls Craig out, tells him he wants to get in the chair, and Craig is like nah, virtually calls him a coward and Craig fucking gets up and calls the bet, and Larry ends up giving one of the most amazing interviews on this show, with Craig as his guest. Opening him up to alcohol, scotland, his relationship with the network... just look at Craig closely during this whole segment... look at his clothes, and his hair, and his posture... I've never seen him just melt and relax on his own show like this... This was beautiful!!

You can tell Larry is a real fan of this show. When he says he watched the show every night I believe him. You can see it when he gets up to dance with Secreteriat. He's genuinely thrilled to be on the show. Guy is a better guest than interviewer imo. That Boomboom story was great (13:43), and oh my god, the authenticity from Craig with the Weinstein comment. (10:50) Not even a smidge of humor, a genuine warning. Even the audience reacted with hushed whispers at that... intense tbh.
There's no telling how many times I've watched this😁. I never get tired of these two. Just great off the cuff comedy. In my opinion Johnny and Craig set the bar for late night.

I've been watching the late shows for a while now, well, sice I learn they were available on the youtube. They are fine, ok. I didn't know this guy, just discovered a few days ago in this channel.. But now I cant stop wondering, where the "olala" is this guy? Why isn't he in any late show anymore? This guy is so genius that is better than all the others combined.
Craig’s interests and personality were just too big for even this show. I think that’s what makes the show more valuable, he ended it when he lost interest.
I actually never really liked Larry King until he came on this show with Craig Ferguson. He would make me laugh so much that I started to like him. Watching the reruns on RUclips makes me miss the guy. It's been three years but Larry King Geoff Peterson will always be one of my favorites on this show. Needless to say, I miss this show

I've been watching the late shows for a while now, well, sice I learn they were available on the youtube.
They are fine, ok. I didn't know this guy, just discovered a few days ago in this channel.. But now I cant stop wondering, where the "olala" is this guy? Why isn't he in any late show anymore? This guy is so genius that is better than all the others combined.
Craig’s interests and personality were just too big for even this show. I think that’s what makes the show more valuable, he ended it when he lost interest.

I like how Larry King is kind of a father-figure to Craig.
I actually never really liked Larry King until he came on this show with Craig Ferguson. He would make me laugh so much that I started to like him. Watching the reruns on RUclips makes me miss the guy. It's been three years but Larry King Geoff Peterson will always be one of my favorites on this show. Needless to say, I miss this show
