  • The last portion of the Timberline Trail #414. I think this last part, although a 50" trail, was the most rooted up, rocky part of the whole 30 miles of trail. Probably should have done this section first!

Very good route recon series of the whole trail. I rode Sanford Creek Trail up to the the Jct with Timberline and the upper section of Sanford was as rough as the Sanford Jct to Hillerton section in your video. Thanks for sharing.

I think Sanford was the worst part. If you can ride that you can ride any part of the trail. It was a rocky section!

Hey! We are planning on hitting this area in August and was curious which direction you chose to ride this . Do you recommend that direction? Also, how would you rate this trail overall? I personally didn't see anything in your video series that concerned me, but I know things are deceiving on GoPro. Thanks!

I rode it from North to South, but either way would be fun. It’s not super hard but be prepared for the altitude as it’s mostly 10-11000ft. It’s a must ride trail if you are in the Taylor area.
Ride safe, maybe I’ll see you on the trail!

If a guy was going to ride that loop, would it be best to ride the direction you road, or the opisite way?

If you went the opposite of me you would be going down a lot of the harder climbs, but your rear brake will be on the uphill side the whole way. Other than that it is probably comparable both ways.
