I finally went back to the junk yard to get some brackets for my serpentine conversion! Some of you may know I have a Honda Prelude with a Small block chevy in it. Those came with V belts and I decided to convert it to a Serpentine system. I found a donor 4.3L V6 with the exact brackets I needed to use. I also ended up getting my driveshaft finally!
I love that you've made a video on finding parts at a "junk yard". The variety of content you provide is great - you really let the viewers experience all of your hard work.
Also I greatly appreciate the opening chest sound from Legend of Zelda 😆
I swear to god I was going to tell you to watch this video and see if you can spot something that you would really appreciate. Sounds like I didn't even need to reach out haha. Thank you very much Ali. I am trying to give the best content I can.
It's all for support of the cause. Alot of progress in one video. Sheesh it's almost there.
Thats what I'm going for now! I want to put enough into a video where I feel like its satisfying. Not just small baby steps.
Great video!
Thanks Mason!
My dad picks up parts there all the time lol i always forget your local to me
No way! That's really cool! Love meeting subscribers close to home.
This is great can't wait to hear this car running and I really hope you can grow enough to be financially capable of doing the belt swap to have the hood on. That would be epic 😊
We will get there eventually, thats for sure! Thank you very much!
Congrats on 20k!! Awesome video drone shots at the yard we sick that place has everything. Cars coming along👌
Thanks brother! I've been putting in work!
yup you gotta pull that powersteering pump and you need "The Tool"
Yeah I wasn't sure if they had a puller at the yard when i decided to just leave it. Turns out he did and even offered it me but I didnt even need that bracket after I thought about it!
Great progress brother! Love the blaster and of course the junkyard score! I almost thought you were going to be ready to start the Prelude at the end of the video ! It's getting so close!
Haha thanks so much David! I am very happy that the blaster is working and so conveniently at my disposal. Greg is helping me big time so progress should be good!
Love your videos.
Thank you very much
Good job
Wow great video ! So what can you do , get a higher hood ?
Might have to cut some holes in the hood 😅
@@LiftedWrangler you cant just lower the engine anymore?
You might actually be able to raise the hood
There called good risers and might help with the fitment
*^hood risers*^
could you just add a bulge to your hood or a faux intake scoop thing? that could give you clearance?
Aftermarket hood! Then let me get that OeM one lol
Haha! Hey you never know!
Keep the v belts or if no hood might as well add a blower
Cowl induction or force induction hood would look good, I think there are different variations of the bracket for tensioner location
I have heard theres different things I can do with my belt as well! As for now Im focused on getting the car running, then I can figure out the rest.
s10 brackets will be lower
😯 Well this is something to look into
You can tell by how the jeep starts it's a 4.0
Hey. Are you in Ontario, Canada?
