This is mind blowing good for something from Crosley, who's notorious for mediocre record player/mini-systems. Big thumbs up to Crosley for listening to their customers and potential buyers.
This is a very good system....also check out the c10, c20, c6, c8, c100/200 for more of truly great Crosley systems. Thank you for watching and commenting!
My only complaint about this is that if they wanted it to really be even more authentic, it would be a fully automatic turntable, but aside from that it has a very nice retro-vibe.
This really looks good. I’d be tempted to buy one if I didn’t already have a good record player, which probably means I’ll end up buying one anyway 😎🍕🍺
That's a 1960s Warner Brothers label. It sounds like Bob Newhart, which I think is from 1960 itself. I definitely like it. That would be something I would maybe put in the bedroom. Thank you for your review as always.
I can't recommend this unit high enough, bought one a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love it. As a newbie to the vinyl world, it's the perfect system, great sound, super easy to use and awesome features. One thing that wasn't mentioned in this vid is that the controls for the cd player can also control the Bluetooth if your phone happens to be at the other end of the house which is pretty cool. The tone arm does feel a little flimsy, but maybe it's supposed to be like that, as it's my first record player, I have nothing to compare it too. I was nervous about getting a Crosley because of all the negative reviews, but this one is seriously awesome. Great vid and very informative as usual.
@@cleverkitsune4302 Yeah, dead right. I own a suitcase player, not Crosley branded, but a Digitnow M46. All LPs play excellently on it, it also has a cueing lever, which the one in this video sadly lacks. I do not feel like it is ruining records either, the claim is a total falsehood, and I use a diamond stylus on it too. I don't use the built in speakers, I use a pair of USB powered ones, the Logitech Z120s.
I don’t have a good record player. I have been looking to buy a new one. I love this 70’s style player and it sounds great especially for a medium size room (study). I May en up buying it. Thanks for the review.
Oh wow this is much better and would fit into my office. LOL.. Hmm in 1976 when I was in the 6th grade my Dad got me my first proper stereo when he came back from deployment providing I kept my math grade high (ugh I hate math), a Panasonic Music Center Quadraphonic stereo that had the BSR record changer, cassette, am/fm tuner and speakers. This kinda reminds me of it.
Very cool story! Yes its interesting how these days they are making systems that are somehow reminiscent of old tech but not actual recreations! Thank you for watching!
I returned my first one of these because of the amount of hum when the turn table is used. I returned the replacement unit also, the hum was still the, the turn table scraped on the top of the unit and couldn’t be adjusted to not scrape with the top, the Bluetooth background noise was unbelievably loud as well - I gave up and spent more money in the end
I love the channel. Why do you think this nice equipment wouldn't include a way to mechanically raise and lower the tone arm? Similarly, my ATLP60, which has a button for that, doesn't include a simple clasp for locking the tone arm. Your point about some cost-cutting on the manufacturer's part is well-taken. However, why do you think it's applied to such small necessities?
I grew up in the 60s and 70s and wish my record players had looked like that. Very nice design. The sound seemed good, even through my smart cellphone. As for the speakers, a decent pair of speaker stands would enhance the sound. If I can ask, do you buy all the different products or are they sent by the manufacturers for you to review them? Whichever the way, your videos are informative. Thanks.
I'm very excited for my Victrola Mid Century Empire to arrive BUT. I wish i saw this video first. That stereo just brings me back to being 9 years old again in front of my families stereo.... looks wonderful and that output of Nat King Cole sounds so nice and warm.... But im sure I'll be happy with the Victrola.
I was wondering what happens at the end of the record. Does the arm return automatically or is it all manual? Does the turntable shut off or keep spinning?
The other thing this Crosley got right is the cover; it completely covers the turntable with a record on it. In other words, no slits needed. And therefore no dust collecting on the platter when the unit isn't on. Good move!
You still have this all in one Crosley 1975T Shelf System Walnut? It's a very awesome far out unit! I'm going to get one sometime next week or probably get the Crosley Otto. How heavy was the Crosley 1975T lightweight or had a little heftiness to it? Keep up the good work! You always put out some of coolest content on RUclips! VWestLife put out some great content too!
@@Recordology Okay awesome! That's cool to know! That the Crosley 1975T unit is lightweight and enjoyable use! Have fun with that great gadget! Thanks again!
This looks amazing. Kinda wish it came with a tape deck! I’m looking for a truly all in one but I can’t seem to find good tape decks? But maybe I’m not looking in the right areas.
For tape decks you have to go vintage. Dolby doesn't license their NR anymore so you kind of have to go retro. Good news is vintage tape decks are cheap on Craigslist or at garage sales. I got my mid grade Pioneer for 10 bucks at a garage sale and it works perfectly. Thank you for watching!
Record-ology As much as I liked the look of the 1975t I remembered a previous turntable you had reviewed and it had a tape deck on the side. I got it last night and have enjoyed it so far and it looks like I made a good choice going by what you have said and by my experience (so far) I can’t wait to go dig out my tapes and try it out. This is the record player I’m talking about ruclips.net/video/v9NwM8x_X4A/видео.html&feature=share It doesn’t look like I can record tapes to mp3 though. Is there any way I can record from tape? I actually have a tape of sentimental value to me where my mom is reading with me as a child and I really would like to preserve that.
Great comment thank you. This wont record to tape but I have seen USB tape players out there that allow you to record from tape to mp3. I might have to record a video on that process one of these days. And yes I 100% agree on sentimental value! Thank you so much for commenting!
I just bought this very same unit a week ago. I LOVE the look of it, but I’m having trouble with my records skipping quite badly. To the point that I can’t overlook it and I end up turning the system off. I’ve leveled it and checked the stylus, even though it’s brand new. I’ve tried new and old records. I’ve read that Crosleys can have issues with new records skipping more than old ones. I really like the look of this one and I don’t want to go to the trouble to box it up and return it, but it’s pretty much unusable. Any ideas on what I could do to remedy the problem?
Does this have a skipping issue? I got a cheap suitcase player and it skipped all my records but i got an older all in 1 and it played my records perfectly but need one with a cd player in it
Hey there. I have a question concerning my Crosley Cruiser deluxe, it's about a year old now and I've noticed that in order to get it to play at the correct speed I have to adjust the pitch faster than the middle notch rest where the accurate speed should be set, is this evidence that the grease on the inner workings is drying out?
So dumb question but if the suspension screw came out and you want to reattach it then do you need to put pressure on it to lock it back before you can screw it to adjust?
@@Recordology I can't find anyone online who has a answer, it's a plastic base so last thing I wanna do is put pressure on it too much and break the base
Excellent product Record-ology. There's really only one thing that lets this player down, and that is the absence of a cueing lever for the turntable. My Digitnow M46 suitcase player has one, and I'd have to be pretty damn certain that most other players of the same type have one aswell. The lifting grip of the tone arm on this is more than manageable, and it does come with a lock, as indeed it should, but come on fellas, where's the cueing lever?
I didn't have that good of an experience with this one, honestly. The mode slider easily started to fault in the first few days and it turned the simple act of selecting an usage mode into a nuisance. Also, I don't know if it's just me barely knowing anything about Auto-stop or what, but this unit made me hate the feature overall, as I couldn't adjust it or even turn it off, effectively making it useless for 45s.
Hahahaha I wondered if somebody would ask me. Its a royalty free song from the RUclips free audio library called "1975" ironically. ruclips.net/video/xDttxnSKtXY/видео.html

Does this Crosley stereo system support larger Hi-Fi speakers such as the ones from Klipsch or Polk Audio, or even speakers from another stereo component system like an Aiwa?
I wouldn't plug any speakers other than the ones that come with it into the speaker connections on the back - HOWEVER you absolutely can connect to powered speakers or any stereo system via the AUX out on the back. Thank you for watching!
Just be sure to match the impedance and wattage values. Impedance being the most important of the two. I am not sure what the ohm rating is on the Crosley.

It’s pretty noticeable, and a definite dealbreaker for me. Does anybody who actually owns one have the interference?
Fair question - its currently working perfectly in another part of the house. I have had this issue in this room before due to the lights. Merry Christmas!
You should be alright. I get interference even on my Vintage Receiver when my phone is on it, so don't think a little electrical interference is a big issue. Just be careful what you place around it. Phone and Computer chargers, among many other things can cause it. Obviously, they could've better insulated the components and that would've solved this, but seeing as it happens to even the good old stuff, I don't think you should worry too much.
I got one of these as an early Christmas present and there's a slight pause when spinning. It will do one full turn and then on the second way around it slows for a split second so the record sounds really slow. I also screwed the wrong way and loosened instead of tightened and now it's just completely loose and the front of the turntable is leaning. Do you think it is faulty or is it something I can fix? Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks 😊
